    With what an amazing experience to be somewhere that Charlemagne and Napoleon have also been! Our guide Pedro, was very informative, and patient with us as we were taking our time to look around at everything and take lots of pictures! We had a great day!

    We had a wonderful time with Pedro as we explored several villages. He was very informative on each village. Our ride was comfortable and lunch delicious with a view of the lake. We highly recommend this tour.

    Pedro was on time, very personable throughout the day, and knew the subject matter. But he didn't fill the time with canned speeches Instead, he seemed to naturally tailor his narrative to my interests. It was relaxed and comfortable all day. He didn't rush me through places like so many guides do. He seemed to sense things I had a special interest in and delve into them more. The pace was so perfect I didn't notice it -- not slow, not fast. But we covered all the sites. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, informative day.

    Paolo was our guide for this amazing trip. The venues we visited were magnificent and our guide Paolo brought everything alive with his knowledge of the area and his excellent skills.

    Our guide was a good person with some relevant historical information. This was overshadowed by the uncomfortably small and filthy car she rented for this 10 hour trip. She was also a very poor driver, so much that Dramamine and a blind fold would have been helpful.

    Good morning. We have spoken with the guide and we have corroborated the car that she rented is for 5 people, so it is more than enough for 2 guests. Possibly, due to the reduced mobility of your husband, he was not very comfortable with the content of the itinerary, but it is clear from the description that you go through 3 medieval villages, and it requires a short walk. The guide drove perfectly and there may have been some bends in the route but this is no longer the guide's fault. Anyway we know that you had a great day with the guide. Thank you for your opinion.
    A full day of exploring a remote area

    Awesome day with our guide. We began the day with a reasonably early start and made our way north toward the mountains. We were picked up right in front of our hotel. The car was clean and newer which must have been helpful on the winding roads up to mountains. I'm grateful Sabastean was driving and not me. Each place we visited was well picked for individuality. There is a small village, medium town and finally a city included in the visits of the tour. It's a great glimpse of life in the region currently, but also of history due to the well persevered roman buildings. I realized that I could not have easily recreated the day myself without the help of a guide which made me grateful we had elected for this tour. Our guide selected a lunch venue and then helped up translate the menu in Catalan. The food was great and got to try some regional favorites. The backdrop of the snow-covered mountains on a bright sunny day was a great touch. I would highly recommend this tour. Come ready for a full day of travel and walking. Sturdy shoes and layers of clothes for changing temperatures is a must. A small backpack served me well. Complements to our guide for his knowledge, friendliness and personality which added to the experience.
