Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Roberto was an excellent host and tour guide. We unknowingly booked the tour on the same day of a major festival in Barcelona so one of the restaurants had us waiting a long time for food, but Roberto kept us entertained with his knowledge, good humor, and flowing wine. We enjoyed much of the food and loved learning about the city and the history behind tapas.

Juan Carlos was fabulous tour guide. Fun, informational and eager to learn about the group. Our group ranged from early 30s to 70 ish. Juan Carlos made sure everyone was included and had a great time. Selection of tapas bars was great!! Quite “local”, not touristy. Would highly recommend.

We ended up as a group of 14, was a little awkward at first not knowing anyone, but add alcohol and amazing food and stroll along to four different restaurants with our knowledgeable guide and by the end everyone got to know everyone, absolutely hands down recommend this to single or group traveller's. Can't beat what you get for the price. Highly recommend.

Jenny, the tour guide, was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed the group. The food, however, was extraordinarily mediocre. As someone who lived in Spain and has spent lots of time eating tapas, I was under the impression that many of these spots were curated only for touring groups. Many of them had reserved signs at all the tables preparing for similarly large, touring crowds therefore seemed to cater less to locals/authentic foods. Everyone was super kind and helpful, the food was just subpar :(

Our Experience with Tapas

Roberto was a teriffic guide and leader with historical knowledge and a good sense of humor. We were a group of 16 from all over Europe and US, and from high school age to seniors. We ate and drank at four different tapas restaurants and had a great evening. Roberto stopped at several places to discuss historical sites along the way. A lovely introduction for our first night in Barcelona.

This was a great tour. Ewan was an awesome guide as he took us around the city, bringing us to 3 different tapas bars and an impromptu “meat cone” stop during our excursion. Along the way he stopped at several different sites and told us about the history of Barcelona. His witty British charm and sense of humor was delightful and we had such a great afternoon. The food and wine that we sampled were amazing and we met several other Americans in our group and shared best sites and experiences in the city. Oh, and Ewan - thanks for the “ham and history lesson”!

We did this tour on our first night in Barcelona. It was a great introduction to the city, food and drinks. The tapas were all very tasty. We all tried everything and enjoyed each stop. The group was rather large 16 but it worked out well and we all stayed together. Each place was prepared for us and we had different things at each stop. Our guide was friendly and informative.
