We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
Children younger than 6 years old, unaccompanied minors (under 18 years old) and people with reduced mobility are not allowed to go up to the towers

As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.
Infants must sit on laps
Due to limited capacity of the elevators, there may be a waiting time between the Basilica and museum guided tour and elevator access. Tower visits will be without a guide. The lift´s operation is subject to cancellation depending on weather conditions and other causes. On the way out of the tower you may need to use the stairs.
Most travelers can participate
Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We could not make the tour because, on 4/3/2024, our connecting flight, Delta 1576, was cancelled. Because of increment weather conditions, all flights out of Orlando International Airport on 4/3/2024 were cancelled. As a result of these cancellations, we could not connect to our international flight, Delta# 0194, out of Atlanta, Georgia, headed toward Barcelona, Spain. I had reached out to Viator and explained our situation to them, and I requested a refund. The refund was denied, and I was told that it was because the Tour Guide Company, Julia travels, denied to give a refund. I had then reached out to Julia Travels and was informed that it wasn't their decision to deny the refund...it was actually Viator's decision to make. After using Viator Tours, over 9 times, for our Tour Bookings, during our 2 weeks vacation to Europe, I feel that Viator should've honored the requested refund, and not give us a 'Run Around The Bush'!

The Sagrada Familia was the best part but our tour took way too long to get in (at least 1.5 hours) and we had fast track entry tickets. The English/German tour was not what was expected or enjoyable, we were expecting an English only tour.

The stain glass windows light reflections were primary colors and beautiful. Amazing architecture. Wish we would have known before hand that we had to put a backpack in a locker if wanted to go to tower. Didn’t bring any euro $1 coins. Nice you got it back but, wish this information was shared. Didn’t do tower because of not having a coin to insert.

The guide was good but he did two languages and spent a lot of time on personal stuff where he grew up etc. I was interested in the cathedral. There were some in our group who seemed to really appreciate him.

Our guide, David, was excellent. Knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. Though he is not a native English speaker, his English was very clear and was quite able to flip between languages. And of course... La Sagrada Familia is unbelievable!! We learned so much about Gaudi and the symbolism throughout the Cathedral which made the experience even better. I've already recommended your tour to a friend

The guide was confident and charming but not a lot of useful info was conveyed on the tour The meeting plus entry process was a bit chaotic - we had skip the line priviledges but if took 35 minutes to get organised to get in the fast line defeating the purpose Needless to say Sagrada Familia never disappoints but you can get in free at 10am Sundays for mass

The lighting inside the Sagrada is remarkable. Areas of the building can be bathed in blue or orange light at different times of day due to the coloured glass used in the widows. It is very stunning and dramatic effect that changes during the course of the visit. If there was a downside it was difficult at times to follow the descriptions being provided by the guide. More attention needed to the equipment and sound quality.

The space itself is beautiful and the tour made it easy filling in details you’d likely not know otherwise., but idk if it was truly necessary or time saving with the meeting spot and waiting. The tower is a lift up and 400 stairs down with no real photo op or stopping point. The tour guide was good but if the cathedrals website worked I would have bought tickets directly instead.
