What To Expect

Make your way to La Sagrada Familia, one of Barcelona's best-known landmarks, to meet your guide and tour group—or just your guide, if you’ve booked the private tour.

Before entry, marvel at the ornate exterior of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring sharp, soaring spires and incredible architectural detail.

Follow your guide inside for a tour of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí's masterwork. Look up for dizzying views of airy vaults, stained-glass windows, and soaring ceilings.

Admire the five aisles that form the shape of a Latin cross while listening to your guide's commentary about Gaudí's architectural philosophy and inspiration. Learn how he became involved and how the church has taken so long to construct.

Opt to upgrade your experience with exclusive access to one of the towers. You’ll ride the elevator up to enjoy the spectacular views, but you’ll need to descend around 400 stairs to come down.

Following your tour, you are free to explore the site further on your own, or enjoy the charming Plaça de Gaudí park.

Children under 6 years old are not allowed to access the Towers even accompanied by an adult. Please note children under 6 will remain downstairs with an adult
Please note the towers may remain closed due to rain or wind
The monument decides which Tower is open for tourists groups and which one remains closed and this may change depending on the day
Please note that the Sagrada Familia Regulations state that children under the age of 11 years old will not get a receiver to listen to the guide. Amigo Tours manages the entry of each of our customers and this measure does not have to do with us.
Infant seats must be requested in advance and are subject to availability
The guide will be waiting for you inside "Emporio Souvenirs" shop
Keep in mind that there are queues to access Sagrada Familia due to security checks

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We enjoyed our guided tour very much. Our guide provided/pointed out so many details I feel we might not have known otherwise which really enhanced our experience. We didn’t add on the tower access.

Didn’t get to participate. We were 5 minutes late and were told the group had already left. We weren’t given a call or message or anything. It was very hard to get a taxi that morning due to a conference in town so we ended up walking the whole way. Man at the meeting point was rude but told us we could try to find the group at the front of the church. No one was waiting and no one told the church staff we might be coming. Staff wouldn’t let us in even though we paid for tickets because the booking company only gives a “voucher” and the tour guide has our tickets. Get a company who actually cares about their customers.

Unfortunately our tour guide, while very well-versed in the history of Sagrada Familia, spoke heavily accented English, so I had a difficult time understanding much of what she said. And I wasn't the only 1 on this tour stating the same thing. I bailed before we were going to visit the tower, but I wasn't the 1st one to leave the group; I was 1 of the few remaining out of a crowd of about 15 when we started. La Sagrada is beautiful, don't miss it when visiting Barcelona. Maybe you'll get lucky if you sign up for this tour and get a guide that you can understand.

La Sagrada Familia, designed by Gaudi, is an incredible place, with its history and ongoing building fascinating. The grounds are packed with people, and tickets must be obtained in advance. I bought tickets through Viator with option for tower viewing. Our large group was divided by two, and our guide was a petite, ~5'3" lady with heavily accented speech that was barely audible above the hoards of people. This guide did not carry a raised flag to guide us through the crowds (just her raised hand), and several people became separated from her group (~10 people), leaving a good number of us missing any information given to us as we wandered about to find her. People on our cruise ship that obtained tickets for entry and then used the audio guide available had a wonderful tour. I would not recommend paying for a tour guide through Viator or any other group.

Beautiful church, tour was terrible

Beautiful church, but the tour was terrible. The guide was late and on top of that it took 30 mins to get into the church. I ended up leaving the group and exploring on my own. Super annoying.

Guide Not Very Friendly

The tour guide walked super fast it was hard to keep up and find him amongst the crowd. My ears were hurting from a cold so I did not want to use the audio headphones. The guide kept pestering me about it so I finally just put on the headphones with no sound. It was frustrating he was so insistent instead of just letting a tour participant choose their own experience.

Overpriced tour, Cathedral stunning.

The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic in her delivery of the information. The cathedral was stunning with the afternoon light shining through the stained glass windows. However..... the guided tour was advertised a 1 hr 30 mins, in reality, the tour lasted approx 40 minutes which bearing in mind we were charged €79 each, worked out as €2 per minute. Also, the tour started 5 mins behind schedule. We felt totally ripped off, it didn't offer good value for money and I would recommend opting for the audio tour if available as we don't believe we learnt anything extra.

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked the headset so you do not have to be right by them to here. It is helpful to be able to see them though as they do point things out and when it may be difficult to understand them you can at least see their face and try to read lips.

With little bit of wrong information about certain things about sagrada familia from the guide.she was friendly though.i would not recommend this service to any one as it didn't cater the money I paid. So anyone who reads this book your tickets at least one month prior. And for the guide 's information-glass was not broken or shattered but it was cut using a cardbordtemplate and connected with lead.
