As you enter Honokohau Harbor, continue straight, do not turn right. Continue straight to the end of the road and on the right you will see a gravel lot to park and our sign at Outer Basin Slip #39, vessel "Honi Olani".

Beautiful Day!

We had a wonderful day with Ali and Michael.. They were so kind, we upgraded to a luxury boat that only took 6 people so we had the whole big boat to ourselves!! Front row seats, no crowd, beautiful waters and we saw whales! Had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this adventure and we will definitely do it again if we revisit Hawaii in the future.. He gave us 20% off for life with their company, so kind!

We had a great time on this tour. We only had a short amount of time on this visit to the island as coming from a cruise ship. It's close to the cruise tender port so it was a quick Uber ride over. The boat tour was informative and relaxed. We saw many whales and had a great couple of hours on the water.

Great experience!! We must have had at least 50 whale sightings. The seating on the deck was so comfortable and the ride was so smooth that I could have fallen asleep on the short ride out to seen the whales.

This was a great boat trip to see some whales! The staff is very knowledgeable about the animals, and most of the way out were they were answering questions and offering up facts. There may or may not be a bar on board ;) If I have one complaint, there was no use of the sail. Let it breathe :)

The people running the ship were super courteous and offered us refreshments at no charge. Had a really nice ride out into the ocean and saw some whales! The ship was really nice too. I mostly laid on the net. Super relaxing.

Very welcoming crew who shared the perfect amount of information (not overwhelming, we’ve had guides who drone on and on). And it’s a perfectly sized group — everyone got a good view of the mama whale and baby calf we had the good luck of spotting in the second half. Would have been a lovely day out on the water even if we hadn’t.

We did a whale watching trip very early in the season and unfortunately didn’t see any whales but the trip was still well worth it. Getting out on the ocean, seeing the incredibly blue water and feeling the breezes was a great experience. Captain Kirk and his crew were knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful.
