It was a wet day in Boston but the company of the other guests and Sam the guide made the food tour a very enjoyable morning. We had several food stops, the Union Oyster Bar was especially good with Clam Chowder and crab cakes which were delicious, we were able to walk round the very old historic building. Sam gave excellent commentary on much of Boston’s history as we toured the Freedom Trail and North End.

Fantastic Boston Food Tour: Freedom Trail & North End
Timothy_F, Oct 2023
We had an absolutely fantastic Freedom Trail & North End Boston Food Tour with Sam. We have done many of these food tours and this rates as one of the best. Sam mixed a good deal of history in with our many food tour stops. The food stops were also so thoughtfully planned out and Sam spared no expense in what he selected for us all to try. From the apple doughnuts and popover at the Boston Public Market, amazing lobster roll at Pauli’s, extra stop for a lemon ice, of course soaking in the history and food at the Oyster House and then finishing it off with the best cannoli the north end has to offer. Thanks so much Sam, you really made our trip memorable!
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear Timothy_F, Your positive review has brightened our day! We are so happy to hear that our tour stood out as your favorite. It's deeply appreciated by us. Sam is a true professional, ensuring every tour reaches its full potential! Thank you as well for praising our food stops and the organizational process. Your positive feedback is valuable, and we're delighted to know you enjoyed all aspects of your experience. We hope to see you again shortly. Sincerely, Andrii

Food and Fun on Boston
Kristie_L, Aug 2023
Carol was fun and fabulous. We enjoyed hearing about the sites and tasting the local fare. The cannolis were out of this world and the lemon ice hit the spot-not to mention the store owners there were so friendly! We highly recommend this great tour.
Response from Host, Feb 2024

Standing food tour.
James_S, Aug 2023
Good experience. The tour guide Kelly did a great job interjecting Boston history with a food tour. It was just enough. A couple of things made me give this a 4 star rating. First off, the address provided isn’t exactly correct. The are multiple 41 Union Street addresses. We went to the wrong on at first. The guide said this happens all the time. Luckily we had given ourselves plenty of time so we arrived to the correct place only a few minutes late. Another negative was that most of the time we stood and ate. The one time we sat in the restaurant it was wonderful. Standing and eating is just no way to enjoy the experience. Maybe one time is fine but we only sat one time in all of the experiences. Overall however I would say it was a good tour.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear James_S, We appreciate you taking the time to share your review! Thank for for your kind words about Kelly. She is truly great at blending the history of Boston with its cuisine. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll use your remarks to enhance the overall tour experience. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Warm regards, Andrii
Fun food and history tour
Susan_B, Aug 2023
Sam was very knowledgeable and shared so much great history. All of the food stops were wonderful and he called ahead to make sure the food was ready so we didn’t have to wait around. We had a great time. The only suggestion we had was to find a better place to enjoy the lobster rolls as the little lot next to garbage cans was not very pleasant. But all in all, the four of us would highly recommend the tour.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Hi Susan_B, Thank you so much for complimenting Sam and the food stops selected. Your satisfaction means a lot to us! Additionally, we appreciate your recommendation for a better place to enjoy lobster rolls. We will certainly take it into consideration. Thank you for sharing your insights. Sincerely, Andrii
Walking tour and so much more!!
MaryCarmody, Aug 2023
When I was looking through the tours of Boston, I wanted something a little more than just a history tour, so we decided on this tour. It was a fun way to see the city while enjoying authentic snacking along the way. We had apple cider, apple donuts, popovers (Asiago flavor was delish), clam chowder, oysters, cornbread, baked beans, lobster roll, lemon ice, and the best cannoli I’ve had outside of Sicily. There is an adjunct of signature Sam Adams flavors only available in Boston, as well. The walk was not grueling, nor painstaking either. I highly recommend this tour to families with children and people want to take in some history and a little more.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear MaryCarmody, We're delighted to hear that you had a fun way to see the city while enjoying authentic snacking along the way. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed the unique experience of trying signature Sam Adams flavors exclusive to Boston. We continuously aim to offer our guests memorable experiences. We can't wait to welcome you back. Warm regards, Andrii
