The farmers market is an age-old tradition that's thriving at Boston's bustling Haymarket. Vendors have been peddling farm-fresh products here since the 1830s, and, nearly 200 years later, it's still a shopping hub for Bostonians. Though not the typical tourist spot, this is a great place to chill with locals and embrace the culture.

What are people saying about Haymarket Boston

An informative experience with a dramatic flair!
From the moment we walked up Audrey made us feel right at home. I have taken many food tours and this by far was one of the best. We had a small intimate group of 11, which was the perfect size! Audrey’s relationships in the community and wonderful sense of humor made it one of the best parts of our trip to Boston. Make sure you ask her how to roast strawberries!

Highly recommend
We were lucky enough to get a “private” tour with Audrey. She was so good and the food was excellent!

Good tour
Was difficult following directions to get to where the tour started. I booked it and wanted to use on my boyfriend's phone but it was impossible so I had to buy it a second time with his name on his phone to actually use it. The Freedom Trail line really helped us navigate and the arrow in the app helps too. Very difficult to hear unless you're using headphones because of all the traffic noise. Otherwise a good historical telling of all the sites.

Boffo Food Tour
We have been on a lot of food tours in multiple countries. This was the best. Audrey was excellent and we had her undivided attention, so we were lucky. North End's Hanover Street is the foodie capital of Boston. Hanover Street is very entrepreneurial—no chains. Extra bonus chats with owners and family members that were not on the tour (sometimes the timing works), especially getting a look/see at Frank DePasquale's newest, Umbria. DePasquale is the premier restauranteur in Boston with 12 distinct eateries.. We had dined at a DePasquale institution, Bricco, the previous night. Excellent. Five tastings in all, and all tasty. Everybody knows Audrey. Bravo.
