Not really a ghost tour

This tour was less of a ghost tour and more just a tour with some spooky stories. Another party on our tour brought several very young children (maybe 5-7 years old??), and I feel our tour was censored / dumbed down as a result, which was frustrating. We have gone on ghost tours in several other cities, and they were better than this tour.

Tour guide was terrible!

We were so excited to take this tour and paid for the extended version. But our tour guide (Josh) did not know what tour he was leading and only talked maybe twice in the first 40 minutes about ghosts. The rest was about random historical information, but it did not make sense in the way he presented it (plus he was asking some of the other tour members if they knew the historical info). It was so bad that at just about 40 minutes in, my group plus three other groups, walked away even though we had another 40 minutes left. The tour guide started talking about Nazis bombing Boston and also acted like he was under the influence of something. I emailed the tour company about this tour and they have yet to reach back out to me.

Entertaining Tour!

My family and I planned a trip to Boston for the Thanksgiving weekend and we were looking for places to visit and things to see. This tour popped up for me and it looked interesting. I personally love anything ghost related and/or anything hunted so I booked it. Our tour guide, Josh (I think that was his name) was very knowledgeable about the places that were supposedly haunted. He made it scary but also entertaining at the same time. I would definitely recommend purchasing the extended 1 hour ghost tour with extra(s) EMF detector, plushie, etc. For some reason when I was booking the tour I was not given those options. But I would overall recommend it!

No ghosts tour

First, it was a very large group & it didn’t seem like everyone was there to get the info. Second, and more importantly, our guide Beau/Bo was very, very new (I believe we were her 3rd tour) & VERY nervous. I totally get being new & having to learn but her nervousness & unsure delivery made listening/paying attention very difficult. Again because the group was so large that might not have helped. Love ghost tours but this definitely didn’t feel like one.

The tour was alright. The history was there, but the program itself was very scripted. Our tour guide seemed to have a hard time remembering what he was supposed to say. The excitement and enjoyment of giving the tour wasn’t there either. Expected more authenticity and less corny lines.
