The guide, named Francis, was really great! He was very entertaining and very knowledgeable about all of the history. He was also friendly, and he did a great job of speaking clearly and loudly. And he also put on a great performance as one of the men from the 1700’s. Excellent tour!

Captain Pickle was an amazing and informative tour guide. He knew historical and fun facts, that kept the tour interesting. The pace was perfect, just make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Jeremiah Poope (Pupe?) was hilarious and knowledgeable. He had my 9-year-old in stitches. We particularly appreciated how equitable he was in his historical stories; he spoke of women and people of color, and their roles in the Revolution and the culture - not just old white dudes (hard to avoid that in this area/time period)! He also was careful to ensure that everyone could keep up and could hear him.

Friendly (pre tour) and very professional guide, big group under tough conditions (rain). Guide did well keeping it mixed up and interesting for a tour group that has everybody from kids to old timers. So irreverent humor is a good approach! I would definitely recommend your tour.

Our guides name was Jeremiah poope. This guy was AWESOME. - He knew the history of America / Boston as if he was alive back in the 1800s. - He made sure everyone could hear him - He was personable, answered all questions, and had a great sense of humor to keep the tour interesting. I definitely recommend this tour if you can handle the 1.2 mile slow paced walk with plenty of stops.
