      Loved our hostess/teacher. We learned to make chicken paprika the way a Hungarian would make it. And Hungarian style noodles. Getting the noodles to cook properly was problematic, but eventually (after the third try), we succeeded. The place we had the class was clean, professional , and pleasant. The other people attending were very pleasant. Her English was excellent. Altogether a fun, pleasant experience.

      This was fantastic! We experienced a true Czech meal and literally got a taste of the culture. The walk through the Central Market was fabulous. We got to try Palika and some dilled vegetables. Everything we tried was superb. We took a short walk from the market to George's house where we prepared our feast. Before cooking, we had another shot of Palika, some wine, and a charcuterie of meats, cheeses, olives, and vegetables. It all tasted incredible. After that, we began preparing the food. There were about 12 of us there and George supplied a cutting board and knife for everyone to use. We chopped our seasonings and prepared the famous local dish, "Chicken Paprika". We were really able to be hands-on with everything, from chopping to stirring, and seasoning. The meal came out GREAT! We will definitely be recreating back home. George supplies the recipe for you.

      Walking the market of fresh produce was an amazing way to start our day. Our chef blended Hungarian history with local cuisine. I’m looking forward to preparing chicken paprikas for friends at home.

      This was our favorite thing we did while in Budapest, we just loved this entire experience, but especially getting to know our host George and enjoying cooking with him and having a delicious dinner in his home was all very special!! All the extra special touches he includes in the evening made it more than we even expected. We left as friends! We Highly recommend this cooking class.

      This experience with George was so much better than we even expected and definitely the highlight of our 2 week Europe trip! From the beginning, the market was a great stop (and the pickles amazing!), and then sampling all the Hungarian sausages before we got down to cooking. It was a great time - George is a wonderful host and instructor, and made sure we were all involved - and got to enjoy our work at the end with a delicious meal. I cannot recommend this experience enough!

      Foodapest was a fantastic experience. I wanted to taste the true culture of Budapest and our Chef, Joseph provided the perfect intimate experience. It really felt like you were having a meal with friends. A great experience that I highly recommend. I left with a happy tummy.

      Hands down, easily the best cooking class experience for me personally. In all fairness, I think I lucked out with the group I was with and George being a fantastic host. From showing us the market filled with a variety of Hungarian foods and spices to gracing us to his lovely and cozy home. Along with preparing and devouring the delicious Hungarian beef goulash, plenty of wine (and shots) and a lot of laughs made this 4 hour experience truly a memorable one.

      We had a great time cooking with George. We started with the central market and ended up in his nearby and well-equipped apt. where we learned some Hungarian history, snacked and then all participated in making - and then eating - chicken paprikash and dumplings. George was so hospitable, informative and really knows his way around the kitchen and Hungary. Highlight of our Budapest stay.

      It is one thing to have amazing food that is easy to prepare, it is much more impressive how much you learn about Budapest as part of the experience. Company was great and hosts were superior to any food experience we have done in the past....an absolute must!

      George was awesome! He took us for a quick tour of the market and some pickle tasting and then we headed to his apartment to cook an amazing chicken paprikish. George was so friendly, we felt like we were at a friend’s house having dinner! The wine flowed as did the pulinkah! It was the best part of our trip to Budapest!
