Marta is delightful! She shared her delicious family recipes with a modern twist with us. The accompanying stories, ‘trade’ secrets, and the lively conversation made the evening one we won’t forget. We made the most amazing Sour Cherry soup, Chicken Paprikas & Gundel pancakes. We can’t wait to make these recipes for family & friends back home. We highly recommend it!!

The best part for me was flipping the pancakes. We all just had a lot of fun and getting to eat what we had just made was just the best.

Incredible experience! She truly was so knowledge as well as made it fun and unique to our skill level. Very easy to chat with and the time flew by! The food was some of the best I’ve had and she offers to send the recipe as well as other interested recipes to us. Necessary when visiting hungary for traditional dishes!

We had a lovely evening during which we prepared and ate a fabulous dinner. We learned about cooking techniques and ingredients that I'd not encountered before and recipes that I can reproduce at home.
The best cooking class, great for solo female!

So I had trouble finding a cooking class that didn’t require another person, I was travelling alone and wanted to go to a cooking class. Luckily Marti offered one. It so happened I joined alongside 3 others who knew each other. I was made to feel very comfortable. The apartment the kitchen is beautiful and spacious. Marti is a wonderful teacher and host. She made sure everyone got involved and she provided plenty of snacks and drinks. I was lucky to learn sour cherry soup, paprika chicken and dumplings and gundel pancake for desert. I can’t wait to cook these at home because wow they were delish! I learnt so much. I wish I could go to her classes all the time! We cooked the meals together and sat down together to eat. It would have been nice if Marti also ate but she had eaten earlier. I think we all throughly enjoyed the experience and I feel it was reasonable. Next time I go back to Hungary I am doing another class! Thanks Marti.
Amazing!

This was so worth it! The host was so kind. We were about 45 minutes late, and she was still willing to do this with us. Thank you! thank you! thank you! It was also private. Since nobody else booked this evening, it was just me, my wife, and the host. So our experience was awesome! It was so much fun. This is a must!

We loved this intimate cooking class. Marti was wonderful and it was an amazing start to our first day in Budapest. Make sure you arrive hungry because the food is to die for. We would even come again and try a different menu next time
