Terrible. No atmosphere and the "clubs" were all free entry bars. There was no real club and no real point of paying any money

Would not recommend for solo travelers

Be aware that the 16 euro's excludes the "open bar". It seemed like a scam for me. In addition, the shots were like juice and for the "open bar" just standard beers and wines were served in a empty boring bar. In addition I would not recommend this tour for solo travellers since I found it hard to find connection with others in the group and we stayed too long in the karaoke bar (1.5 hours). Since Budapest hosts many groups, 95% of the participants of the pub crawl were friend groups which stayed together in circles.

The guide (mark) knows its job but awkward and inappropriate in many occasions. I'd say he has the right vibe, but way too much full of himself. Also I know I should have read the details better before to book but I booked it rushing and on the title says 1 hour open bar, but for that you need to pay extra. Also if you are too few people, like in our case, the bar won't give you the possibility do it. At the end it was fun, but not thanks to the organization. Wouldn't do it again nor recommend it

We had a ball! While we were probably older than their target crowd, we still had a great time. The organizers have quite the job reigning in and herding a crowd of drinkers but they do a stellar job at leaving no man behind. It was everything I hoped it would be- a safe way to let loose and dance in Budapest!

I choose this one because it was one of the ones I could pay for online Instead of having to pull out cash (I was only gonna be in hungry for 1 night so wanted to avoid having extra local currency). I thought the price sounded fair for what it was. Got there and they told us we had to pay extra in cash. No one knew this as it is really hidden under the "additional info, read more" So spent the first hour in line with everyone at the atm. Just felt kind of scam-my and started off the tour on a bad foot. Then everyone they took us to was empty af with bad music. Maybe would be better if i went on a weekend. All the shots they gave us were rather 1/3 full or watered down with juice. Free and fast entry into bars/ clubs was good. And all the ppl taking the tour were fun solo travellers. Feel like there are other tours out there that would have been much better. Wish I had chosen another one.

They started one hour late, while we arrived on time. For this waiting time no drinks or shots. The open bar turned out to be mandatory which was not on the information. So we HAD to pay for it. The open bar only had wine and beer, and you needed to get it for yourself. So grabbing beers for a group was not allowed. The bars were not so great, only instant was cool to go to as VIP, however this normally costs 5 euro. So all together we payed 28 euro a person which is is way to much for what you get. I have been to much greater pubcrawls. You should skip this one!

The warm beer was a particular highlight of the free bar - poured from cans under the counter ! We had just spent £65.00 for a round of 5 drinks in a pub that has got the worse toilets I have ever experienced in my life and trust me I’ve been in some rough spots ! We were charged additional money @€7 per person which was an additional insult - we left in disgust and would recommend that this experience is avoided at all costs ! It was an experience but not one we would want to repeat.

Showed up on time on my friend's birthday to be told by the very nice bartender that it had been canceled. They didn't bother to tell us and we had walked quite far to reach it. They were able to email and text me, and they definitely knew over an hour before the tour that it would be cancelled but they didn't bother reaching out. We ended up having a good night anyway on our own and I will be getting a refund.

They took you to bars and clubs with free entry, and gave you one shot per place except the first, where an open bar is really just wine and beer, no mixed drinks. The shots were also mixed with orange juice. The customer service was horrible, i asked multiple times whether I could bring Hungarian Fiont instead of Euro for the open bar, and customer service said I had to bring euro. Got to the place after a mess with exchanging money for them to tell me that they needed hungary money instead. The tour guide was fun and the actual events were ok, if you’re looking to meet people I’d say it’s worth it. Otherwise, you’ll have more fun and save money by googling ruin bars and clubs yourself.
