What To Expect

When visiting Cairo, it’s a must to get away from the business and relax at the Red Sea. This tour takes you there, hassle-free, so you don’t need to worry about any logistics.

Your tour starts with hotel pickup to keep things running smoothly. Then you’ll make your way out to El Ain Sokhna where you can spend the day however you like. This is a private tour, so there is no fixed itinerary like there often is with large group tours.

You’ll use the facilities at the Dome Marina Hotel, like beach chairs and umbrellas. Swim, sunbathe, walk the beach, or relax. Throughout the day you’ll be served snacks, plus lunch is also provided.

When your day is finished, you’ll be driven privately back to your Cairo hotel.

Relax by the Red Sea

Americans such as ourselves may not love the long and hectic drive to the coast from Cairo, but the turquoise and blue seas provide a welcome contrast to the sandy city. The resort was shabby, compared to western resort standards, but the provided buffet lunch was really quite tasty (and we just used the resort room to change in and store our belongings). The beach has lounge chairs with umbrella, a pool, and a swimming area cordoned off from the sea. The driver and guide were friendly and professional. If you keep expectations in check, you’ll enjoy a day away from Cairo and relax beside the Red Sea.

The experience on the whole was amazing. The driver and the guide were kind and the trip has happened with no problems. The landscape is pretty and the facility is nice. However we had too short time there. We´ve arrived at about 10:30 AM and hat to leave at 15:00 PM. It´s maybe not worth it to spend almost 5 hours in a car to stay just 4,5 hours there.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. This was not value for money. My driver was friendly but I was harassed by men at the hotel, the lunch was not very good and cost $35. I ended up feeling very irritated. Such a shame.

Car with driver came to pick up on time, service was good. Car was clean and tidy. Driver name is Shady. He was very friendly and lively . I would recommend him as your guide and driver.

It sounds nice in the description. The actual beach appears less than 300 yards and looks more like a large pool. I thought, "I dont want to spend a day of the brief time I am in Cairo at this crappy beach resort". My guide (Hakeem) was great. He and the driver took me to the Egyptian Civilization Museum after a brief time at the resort It was a nice save of a potentially wasted day.

Terrific trip. The trip included a room in a hotel so you could change and shower before the drive home. Lunch was great and the guide, Nour, was terrific. He made sure our day was perfect!

For enojoy the read sea and have good moment and relax day , I recommend you buy you need to pay extra 15uds, for use pool and have the buffet .

WOW!!! Such a great experience! I would definitely recommend folks visit the Red Sea if they go to Egypt. The mountain and desert views are very grande and the water views are amazing. The water is very very salty, but the color of the water is super clear and soothing. My guide Mido was able to negotiate a good deal for me to go parasailing and it honestly made my whole trip to Egypt. The drive there from Cairo didn't feel too long. A nap makes the time go by real quick.

The driver hamadein was very fun to be with. He was very outgoing and very concerned about my pleasure in experiences. He offered me drinks at the gas station and even fruit that he purchased. He made sure I got to my motel which was hard to find. The red sea was beautiful and the best part of Egypt. Had my own room at the resort for a few hours. Loved it, however the company did not pick me up for the airport the next day after I paid for transportation with my credit card. They did not answer calls or texts. I do not recommend this tour operator. They were even late picking me up for this tour. Very disappointed.

The Emo Tuor agency was the worst agency I've ever had contact with! At the last minute I was told that the guide in my language was no longer available I was offered in a blunt manner whether or not I wanted an English speaking guide! To my surprise they sent a driver (very polite) who only spoke Arabic! I contacted the agency who said the guide would be waiting for me (where? because I didn't find anyone). On the way we had an accident on the road because the driver was always talking on the cell phone. Luckily, nothing serious happened to me, because the other car hit the side of the door where I was! The resort is great but the service leaves a lot to be desired people always peeled and with the cell phone not to worry about anything only the barita that served me was really working! I do not recommend this agency to anyone.

It was a nice enjoyable ride traveling through different towns, as well as sightseeing. The Red Sea was so beautiful minus it being a little rocky. I would have loved staying overnight for a couple of days.

We were picked up by a lovely tour guide Basam and his driver. It took a good couple of hours from our hotel near the pyramids. The infrastructure of Cairo or New Cairo as it stands is precarious to say the least! But please don't let this put you off. It will be fabulous once it's all finished. We found our 'home for the day' a little tired (I'm sure it was a cracking hotel 20 years ago). None the less it was perfectly adequate for our purposes. The staff were very friendly. The beach and sea were such a welcome change from the hustle and bustle in Cairo. As it was out of season the hotel was more or less deserted so we had the place all to ourselves! All in all a really enjoyable experience.

Terrible, Terrible Tour, Location and Company

This experience was the worst of my trip and I made multiple excursions throughout the 8 days my wife and I were in Cairo. The Dome Marina may be a 2 star hotel at best and nothing on the description of this tour matches what you get. In addition to this, my wife and I witnessed an assault between a male and female staff member with little to no one willing to address this issue on site. I can say for the money and time do something else. Fyi my trip was so terrible I didnt ask for a refund and still tipped but I did that so I could follow up this review so no one on their side tries to make it seem like I was trying to get a refund. I would wholeheartedly avoid this excursion altogether. I have family and friends coming in a Group of 8 in March and I made sure to let them know to avoid emo tours and this tour in particular altogether. Trust me dont waste your time, money or effort on this one, I didnt gain anything from this one but a bad experience and total waste of my time but hopefully I can help the next person not get screwed over..
