We had such a great experience doing this! The snorkel shop was so helpful, and we had the entire day to explore the beautiful reefs. Lunch and drinks in the Blue Lagoon were an amazing surprise— and we loved all the carefully maintained trails and the sea lion show. Ignore people who complain about the price; this is a park that cares for wildlife; the fee is worth it!

The park was lovely and had several enjoyable activities. I was disappointed that we couldn't snorkeling because of the tides. Later in the day they were restored from a red flag danger to a yellow flag caution.

Chankanaab was a welcome surprise on our cruise stop in Cozumel. So much to do, but we were very content and happily surprised by the ease of our snorkel rental. Be advised, we paid an additional 5 USD a person to get into the part in top of our snorkel rental. We got off our ship early and were at the park just before 9. Had no issues getting a prime chair spot and didn’t have to wait for our gear. Great mix of beach/sun tanning and snorkeling.

If you don't want to go with a group, buying tickets online works. It was a little confusing at the entrance because you don't know who to give the pass to but I was quickly sent in the right direction. really enjoyed going at my own pace. the dive shop (MJ) is close to the bathrooms and has big lockers. The restaurant servers come to you at the beach. bring cash, chicken quesadilla was a nice snack for two $10.

Desafortunadamente no pudimos visitar el parque ya que por los tiempos del Ferry llegamos tarde, ojala nos hubieran permitido cambiar la fecha, lamentablemente no fue así y perdimos la oportunidad. Deberían apoyar indicando los tiempos de traslado, para que las personas que no hemos hecho estos recorridos anteriormente tengamos conocimiento y podamos planear mejor, así como ser flexibles en cambios, en especial en estos tiempos de contingencia donde todo se está viendo afectado.

Nunca apareció el omar, el arrecife solo tiene 3 peces no hay nada de atractiva en ese parque solo el delfinario. No hubo ni un recibimiento. Fue una total pérdida de tiempo. Fue como ir por nuestra cuenta propia. Michelle González la mamá de impar se disculpar con nosotros y lo llamo muchas veces y no contesto ya no sabía que hacer. Solo nos dio las pulseras. Ni nos acompañaron a snorquear. Un asco total.
