Fun, Great Service

We had lots of fun on the scooters. Lunch was delicous. The two tour guides, Alphonso and Guillermo, were excellent. They were friendly, fun and provided great service and good company.

We had an amazing time with the sea scooters. The water was oh so amazing! Our guide stayed with us the whole time. We also went fire tequila tasting and chocolate making. Even though I’m not a tequila person I found it delicious. Our lunch was delicious. It was the perfect day.

Our guides went above and beyond to provide a great experience! We changed snorkeling locations because they warned us that there would be jellyfish near the ship following some bad weather the prior day, which we appreciated. We also had a delicious lunch at a local spot after the tequila and chocolate tasting.

If you are looking for a tour that is more private and more authentic, you will love this tour. We always find the downside to a cruise to be that you have less time to experience the port. This tour really let us get a feel for the vibe of Cozumel! You get away from the crowds with just your family and get to do some fantastic snorkeling. Adolfo and his sidekick are so friendly and fun!. Everything was great- from the scooters to the breakfast to the awesome tequila tasting. Definitely bring cash with you for tips as well as a card if you decide to buy tequila.

Magnificent tour with NEMO!!

We had a wonderful time using the Sea Scooters. Nemo was our tour guide and he was terrific. It was just my wife and I and Nemo and his two assistants in a canoe following along. I would highly recommend them.

This tour was wonderful! Adolfo and Memo were excellent guides- very kind and considerate. This is billed as a sunken ships tour, but right at the beginning they gave us the choice between going out deep to the sunken ship, where one would not see a lot of fish, or snorkeling the reef along the coast in order to see fish. We were the only ones on in our tour group, so they wanted to accommodate whatever mattered most to us. We chose to snorkel the reef, and it was fantastic! We saw so many different kinds of fish, and Adolfo is extremely knowledgeable about the sea life, pointed out several starfish and stingrays that were hiding on the bottom, as well as the names of many other fish. We also really enjoyed the second half of the tour, breakfast at La Monina, and the tequila tour. Learned all kinds of interesting things about tequila! We did this with our adult children, and everyone agreed I t’s the best thing we’ve done so far on this trip! Thanks Adolfo and Memo!

The guides we had were wonderful! We only went along the shore due to Jellyfish issues. Limited amount of fish seen. The Breakfast was delicious. Nice overall experience!

We had so much fun doing this! Our guide was wonderful and spoke very good English. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and was a welcome break from the food at our resort. The snorkeling was great and the sea scooters were so much fun! We would definitely do this activity again!

Great experience with attentive guides, one in the water with us and one providing safety support in a kayak with back-up sea scooters, masks, etc. Able to see sunken navy boat and old cruise pier used for artificial reef. Food was tasty. Tequila tour was fun.

It was very interesting to use the scooters, as the current was very strong it was also necessary. The tour guides were amazing and friendly, I felt always comfortable. Also the tequila and chocolate tasting was great.

We couldn't see any sunken ship. I expected to be on a boat and then go to the sunken ship and use the sea scooter. They left from the beach to go snorkeling a tour that we had free in our hotel.

Good morning Mr. Ramón. I remember we had a Bad weather 1 or 2 days before ,andbthe Bad weather normaly brings jellyfish thats why we gave You the option to go to sea the sunken ship or go to an área where no much murrent and no jellyfish. The other reason was because You did not know how to swim and You said You were not going to do it. Our apologies for the bad day you had with us.

We had the best time! The water was wonder, the sea life was hoppin', the scooters were fun. More than that, our guide was GREAT!! Honest, kind, informative. The very best. We really enjoyed the tequilla tasting and mayan info tour as well. What a fantastic way to spend our port day!

The weather caused the current to be a little rough but we had such an amazing time! We met another really amazing couple, saw a stingray and they took us swimming to see a beautiful reef with lots of fish! The tequila tasting and chocolate was amazing. We had tons of fun!

We had a blast. The tour guide was great and we enjoyed the sea scooters, tequila tasting, and lunch. Definitely recommend this excursion. It took up about 4 hours and then we were taken to shopping downtown.

This tour (excursion) is awesome, and it includes much more than what is described on Viator. First you go snorkeling to see fish and other marine life such as rays. (I saw a huge stingray - called an “eagle ray” - flapping its wings as it glided underwater), then to two sunken ship wrecks via sea scooters, then you shower and change and take a group taxi (included) to a place where they show you how they make - and you get generous tastes of - homemade chocolate, homemade tortillas with pumpkin seed salsa, and many varieties of Tequila, both unflavored and flavored. Finally, you stop for lunch. The activities are fabulous, as are the guides. By the way, there were even some first-time snorkelers on the tour, and they did fine with the sea scooters. This excursion was definitely worthwhile!

A blast under water and the best tequila tour!

This was truly a unique and FUN excursion. We were cruising with MSC and the port we arrived at required a short trip by taxi - which we found very easy to use and was well priced ($8 for two people). There was just my husband and I and one other couple so this was truly a boutique experience where we felt like we got plenty of attention and experience from our guides. Memo and Adolfo truly are professional and work together for your safety and enjoyment. The equipment was clean, in great shape, and we got to swim out very far to see the ship ruins, dock that had been sunk by a hurricane, fish, and we even saw Eagle Rays! We felt safe with two guys in the water with us and one watching from above in a kayak. The sea scooters were very easy to use, although they pulled my husband (210 lb 6'4 so he's a pretty built guy) somewhat slowly as we headed back toward shore. The best part of using the scooters was when you're swimming against the current of the ocean you get more tired but I didn't notice that much at all with the propulsion of the sea scooters. Mine started to die on the way back in but that was no problem, Adolfo in the kayak quickly swapped me out for another one and I was back on my way. We really liked the pictures we bought but sadly forgot to download them before they expired (we were still on vacation with limited web access) so I would suggest they possibly add some extra time to that deadline but otherwise we had a great time snorkeling. We then went to the tequila demonstration and our guide there was OUTSTANDING. Very personable and a great salesman :) We bought multiple bottles of their product and they were already wrapped up and ready to go in the suitcase. I would suggest checking with your cruise ship regarding bringing alcohol purchased at port on board with you. We didn't have a problem with our cruise line but there were 2 other ships we were docked next to and security at the port as we went to get back on ship had a whole bin of bottles wrapped like ours that were confiscated/held for the ones who bought them. After the tequila tour we went to a small local restaurant and had some fantastic lunch in an intimate setting. Our food arrived quickly and was very tasty. We arrived back to the port with plenty of time to shop and grab some jello shots shaped like watermelon - so delicious! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for the small private tour experience as opposed to a giant excursion with all the same people you've been cruising with for days!
