Luis and his mate Antonio were great. Beyond friendly, gracious and helpful. He found spots to catch fish in a quick time, took us to some great snorkeling to see a turtle, schools of fish and reef, and even a nurse shark. They had water, beer & more. Snacks and then of course Luis cooked our fish, made guacamole and ceviche, and cheese quesadillas. I have not eaten fish in 30-33 years. This was truly good. My wife and oldest son were courageous enough to try the ceviche and said it was awesome. I could not recommend this enough!

You won’t be disappointed! Easy 5 min ride via taxi to the marina ($20). There were 8 of us ranging in age from 14-50, and we all had a great time. Listened to music as we sped off to all the spots. They have beer, soft drinks, margaritas as you’re cruising. We went fishing and caught a few fish despite the wind and choppy waters. Went to the snorkeling spot and saw starfish, sea turtles and other tropical fish. Water is about 7 ft deep but we ended up asking for the floaty devices that go around your waist as we were struggling in the choppy water and it just made it easier having it and snorkeling. The guys on the boat make sure you’re comfortable and they are in the water with you. Afterwards, we went to the sandbar and swam and walked on the beach while the crew made an amazing lunch of ceviche, guac, fresh fruit and shrimp and fish. It was sooo good. We also saw stingrays as we were getting back on the boat. Just know that you need to put on sunscreen before you get on the boat and you can’t reapply afterwards. Half of us got too much sun but those of us who had on swim shirts and hats did great. My husband was skeptical and worried and I reassured him it would be fine based on all the reviews. It was worth it and better than what we could find from the cruise ship- give it a try!!

Great Experience--Would Happily Book Again!

We had such a wonderful time on the First Lady! The crew was absolutely amazing even when the weather was cooperating. We arrived quite early for our charter, but the crew didn't blink an eye--just let us know the Captain would be another 15 minutes and then we could head out early, and in the meantime just hang out in the shade and get ready--wonderful that they were able to pivot to take us out a bit early! Conditions didn't allow us to follow the planned itinerary as El Cielo was closed and the current kept us from hitting the planned beach. The crew quickly pivoted and still gave us a great experience--visiting two other reefs that we thoroughly enjoyed. We got to see a lot of wildlife--including barracudas, trigger fish, and stingrays--and got to swim in the midst of several schools of fish. It was one of the best snorkel experiences we've had and it wasn't even the "good" reef! Conditions didn't let us get any fishing in, but the crew managed to get us on the sandbar (not as easy as one might think since the current seemed stronger than normal). We got lots of time to relax in the water and play while they cooked up lunch. The lunch that the crew cooked was also incredible--trigger fish filets, snapper ceviche, guacamole, tortillas, and fresh fruit. The teenagers who all "don't like fish" each ate heartily commenting about how good the food was and how they didn't know fish could be that good.

First Lady was First Class! Antonio and Luis were a killer crew - we caught a ton of trigger and rainbow runners, snorkeled with giant star fish and anchored at the sandbar for margaritas, freshly prepared fish, ceviche and beautiful water. We always book private charters while on vacation and this was flawless. Highly, highly recommend if you are headed to Cozumel.

Luis, Christian, and Jairo were amazing guides and Captains! Fishing was great. To catch and eat our own catch…it doesn’t get fresher or better than that! My family loved the food! The ceviche and trigger fish was phenomenal! We were also, so lucky to see so much sea life while snorkeling. From what I read, you are lucky if you see 1 sea turtle. We saw 6! Sharks, eels, star fish, stingrays and so many varieties of fish! This trip was a highlight and my whole family want to return and do it again! We took 5 kids with us on this excursion…Ages 7-20 they all loved it. My boys also loved the boat ride “jumping the big waves” haha

This was the best excursion!!! The crew was so helpful and friendly. Two of our guys caught fish then the snorkeling was absolutely amazing. We saw everything: fish, sea turtles, star fish, a shark, and lobsters. The sand bar was also spectacular. We got to play on the sand and in the water with several sting rays while lunch was prepared. The food was delicious! Seriously recommend this private charter. It was perfect for our family of 10!

My 14 year old son has always wanted to see a sea turtle and my 12 year old always wanted to do deep sea fishing. This experience we did both! We had an amazing time snorkeling and while we swam at the sand bar Luis and Christian cooked our fish that we caught… and my kids loved it! Literally this was one of the best experiences! You do have to take a taxi back and forth to the pier which was about $20 bucks each way ( depends on how many people… we had 8 ) if we ever go back to Cozumel we would definitely book this trip again!

Best excursion ever! Will do again!

This was absolutely the best excursion we've been on over the years. My family of 9 included people in 20s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. ALL had a great time. We were lucky that it was a beautiful day and all the creatures came out to meet us. We snorkeled with our excellent guide and saw sea turtles immediately (a luck thing), lots of colorful fish, baracuda, lobster, baby sharks (hiding in the reef), starfish, so much more. The sand bar was great. The crew provided mixed drinks and beer in insulated cups and koozies (my husband thought this was a nice touch). Lots of water and soda were available. While we hung out on the sandbar, several stingrays swam all around us. Magical! The crew made a wonderful lunch including ceviche with shrimp and also great guacamole. The only thing I would change is that the guide suggested fins were not really necessary in shallow water, which we thought meant super shallow, but was actually 8 feet, so fins would have made sense. We were pretty tired at the end of that stop (the adults in their 20s were fine). We used fins at second stop, and it was a lot better. Recommending the fins every stop except the sandbar would be helpful. That did not change how great the crew was, how clean the boat was, how great the places we visited were, and everything about this excursion. We can't wait to go again and are telling all our friends about it. Thank you for a great day!

Heavenly Snorkel

This excursion was incredible. Christian and Luiz were the greatest! We went snorkeling and saw so much. Then they took us to the beautiful shallow water. They served us the most amazing meal of ceviche, fish, guac, shrimp an tortillas. Unbelievable trip and so worth the money. I highly recommend this trip when in Cozumel. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Best Cozumel Excursion

The best excursion for us. The 3 man crew were waiting for us at Marina and we departed right on time. First we fished and we caught a lot! Then we snorkeled and saw sea turtles, lobsters and small sharks. It was up to us on how much time we spent doing each activity. Then we headed to the most beautiful sand bar where the crew cooked up the fish for lunch. The food was amazing. While they cooked lunch we got to swim at the beautiful sand bar and swim with sting rays. It was so neat. Highly recommend this excursion. We plah to do this again.

Great experience with First Lady charter. The crew were extremely accommodating with 3 kids ranging from 6 -15 years old. El cielo was the best spot for sure for the family and the lunch prepared most very yummy, lots of ceviches, grilled fish and shrimp and guacamole. Snorkeling was very nice seeing turtles, rays and a ton of fish varieties.

Beautiful experience

Decided a day in advance to do a boat/snorkel trip and was torn between 3 different options. This was a little more expensive but the reviews were perfect so we booked it. It was a little windy, but the boat was fast and blew thru the water with ease. Had a couple who normally get a little queasy but it didn’t happen at all. Took us to a nice spot to snorkel and we saw large turtles, lobsters, fish and a ton of starfish. It took me a little time to get my breathing right but once I did, it was great. Then we went over to a super clear and waste deep spot where stingrays swam all around us. The guys grilled up some fresh fish and shrimp with guacamole and awesome margaritas. Yum! It was a perfect ending to a great trip. Would definitely recommend- well worth the cost!!

The guides were wonderful. One of the guys swam with us the entire time. He pointed out 4 sea turtles. He also knew where two nurse Sharks hung out in the coral. We saw so many fish. Of course no one touched any fish, turtles or coral. We snorkeled in a shallow spot (8ft deep) and a deep spot (25-30ft deep). It was amazing. The food provided was super fresh fruit, shrimp ceviche, fish ceviche, and grilled fish and shrimp. Of course guacamole and fresh fruit were provided. The best was the huge rays swimming around us. Terrific Private Snorkeling Trip

Our family and another family (total of 10 people, including 5 teenagers) had an amazing time. They quickly brought us to one of the best snorkeling spots at the tail end of Cozumel, where we were the only boat. We saw beautiful fish, rays, turtles, a shark, lobsters and crabs--in crystal clear water. Plus, they made a fantastic lunch of shrimp ceviche, grilled shrimp, fresh guac and fruit. They had 3 guides for our group of 10, One of the guides knew where all the fish were.
