      Best tour ever!!!!
      Michelle_L, Aug 2023
I went on three guided trips while on vacation in Peru and this was the BEST one. First, Saul was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgable about the animal and plant life. He was also very personable and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, safe and accommodating. Day 1: You will be picked up in a very comfortable touring van and be taken through Sacred Valley. Once at the top of the mountain range you will be given all safety equipment and a mountain bike where you will make your way down. From there the van will pick you back up and transport you to your first hotel. Next another transport will pick you up and off to white water rafting you go. After making your way down the river you will go back and have some local cuisine at the hotel. Day 2: Wake up and eat a amazing breakfast with some of the best fruit and coffee I've ever had and that's because the hotel is on a coffee plantation. After breakfast you will be taken to a trail head of the Inka Trail. You hike up to anther coffee plantation where you will enjoy amazing views and learn how coffee goes from beans to your cup. From there you hike up and down mountains enjoying views more gorgeous every time you look. You end the day at the hot springs to help repair those aching muscles. You then get transported up the mountain to your next comfortable hotel. Day 3: You start off mustering all your courage and enjoy zip-lining back and forth across a gorge. You are then transported to start your hike to a beautiful restaurant in the jungle. Here you will eat lunch in a tree house like restaurant and rest your feet for the last leg of your trip. Once full you continue on to the last town before Machu Picchu. You check into your hotel and explore the town for the rest of the day. Day 4: You wake up early and hop on the bus to Machu Picchu. Here you have early entry and get to watch the sun rise over this amazing city. Saul took us around and explained all about this civilization including its history, daily life and its downfall. Early entry was key here because as we were finishing our tour the amount of people in the park was insane. That and the temperature started to bump up. You have a choice of paying for a van ticket back down the mountain or to hike down that takes about 1.5 hours. Back in town you have enough time to eat a local favorite cuy and drink a pisco sour. Grab your train back and be picked up by another touring van and enjoy the ride back to your hotel. Notes: There is a bit of hiking involved that includes the bag that you bring with your clothes and necessities. One day is hiking approximately 9 miles and the other is about 4 but don't let that deter you as the guides understand everyones fitness level is different and can adjust speed as needed.

Inkayni Tours was the best...our guide, Juan Carlos C., made the trip! Mountain biking was amazing, white water rafting exhilarating, trekking was arduous but well worth it, ziplining breath taking and Machu Picchu eye watering. Without a doubt, our guide from Inkayni Tours was what set this trip apart!
