      Wonderful experience
      Jasmin_S, Apr 2024
I went with my husband and daughter (1.5 years old), and so glad we did a private tour. Ronald was our guide and he was excellent, with a lot of knowledge and also was a great photographer for us. He was very kind and patient considering we had a toddler with us and made the process very easy for us.
      Outstanding Morning in Machu Picchu
      Rebecca_E, Apr 2024
Seeing Machu Picchu in the morning as the sun was climbing over the mountains was spectacular. By scheduling an early morning tour it was less crowded and allowed us access to areas that are closed later in the day. Marco, our tour guide, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about the history of Machu Picchu. He was a great photographer as well and took pictures of us at the site. I would definitely recommend this tour.
      Response from Host, Apr 2024

We're also delighted to hear that Marco, your tour guide, left such a positive impression on you. Great tour, but no llamas
      SynneH_R, Apr 2024
Not everything we were made to expect. In the overview description it says - twice - that you'll get to "come face-to-face with resident llamas" and "meet resident llamas". As an animal lover, that was actually an important part for me, since we don't have llamas where I come from. Unfortunately, this was not actually a part of the tour. We spotted the head of one single llama from way off, far above us in the hill, and that was it. I didn't even take a picture, since I thought we'd get to see more up close later, but that never happened. When the tour was nearing the end, I asked if we could actually see the llamas, since it was in the description that you'd get to meet them, but the guide said no. In fact, because you have to follow a set route through the ruins, we couldn't even go back to where we saw the one earlier. I understand that this isn't a llama tour, haha, and that these animals are just a fun bonus for most people, but the fact is that we were promised something that we did not get. If guests are not guaranteed to meet llamas, just remove it from the description. I would much rather be pleasantly surprised than be disappointed like this. Otherwise, the bus ride was comfortable, the guide was knowledgeable and the site was spectacular, and we really enjoyed our Machu Picchu experience.
      Response from Host, Apr 2024
We sincerely apologize for the discrepancy between the tour description and your actual experience regarding the llamas. We understand how important it was for you to have that opportunity, especially as an animal lover. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will take immediate action to ensure that our descriptions accurately reflect the experiences we provide. While we strive to offer unique and enjoyable experiences, we acknowledge that we fell short in this instance. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to make it right for you in the future.
      Excellent personalized tour

Machu Picchu in the heart of the rainy season
      Scott_B, Feb 2024
Marco did an excellent job. He’s knowledgeable and speaks extremely good English, in fact, he speaks five languages. The weather was rainy and the fog was thick but Marco took us to overlooks and patiently waited (1.5 hrs) for just a slight lift in the fog so we could capture the picture of Machu Picchu we came for.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that Marco provided excellent service during your visit to Machu Picchu. Despite the challenging weather conditions, Marco's dedication to ensuring you captured the perfect picture of Machu Picchu is commendable. We're glad that Marco's efforts contributed to making your trip memorable, and we appreciate your recommendation of our services. Fun tour, but stays on script!
      John_N, Jan 2024
Johnny was a fun guide with a great attitude. We got the basic history of the site and took a lot of funny pictures. ONE BIG NOTE: this tour is run very clearly on a timed script, and if you ask anthropological questions that deviate from the script they won’t be answered. I’m a history junkie and this didn’t quite scratch that itch but I’m not sure it was supposed to.

Thank you very much Amigo Hector for such a beautiful experience. For showing us Machu Picchu and for being you and loving and preserving your authentic and unique culture. Hector picked us up at the hotel. Put us on the bus. And took us on a tour. He stopped and waited patiently where we wanted to stop. He took so many beautiful photos of us. Talked about what Machu Picchu was and at the end of the tour he put us back on the bus. You could really tell how much he loves his country and his culture and he really represents what Peruvian is. Thank you so much for the beautiful tour and hasta pronto. We will never forget how beautiful that experience was.
      Exceptional Guided Experience
      Marissa_M, Sep 2023
Our tour guide Marco was incredible. Two hours flew by with him. He also took great pictures of us which we will be able to look back on fondly. We bought tickets for 2:00p and couldn’t recommended it more. I was initially hesitant going this late in the day but am so glad we did: It was much less crowded at this time.

We were so glad we booked the private tour to Macchu Picchu. Our tour guide Johnny was extremely knowledgeable. He was very patient, as my wife was slowed by the altitude. Best of all, he took many photos of us and knew the best spots to capture the pictures

I had a lovely tour with my guide Marco! This tour is for Circuit 2 of Machu Picchu, which I believe is the best one! I got so many incredible photos and the booking process was very easy and straight forward. Highly recommend!
Marco made the trip even better
      Vicki_K, May 2023
Our guide, Marco, was very knowledgeable, not only about Machu Picchu, but also about photography with any phone. He made the trip better than we could have dreamed. We are older and I have knee problems. He was very patient and kind. He was always watchful of how well we were doing and didn’t hesitate to ask others to wait a moment to let us get up stairs or negotiate rocky paths.

Our guide Johnny was amazing. He shared so much history and information. He had a great sense of humor and made our experience really fun. We loved getting to tour each of the temples. The mountains were beautiful. We stopped to breathe in the fresh air & connect to the spirit of the land. Very spiritual place.
