The city was once known as a key trading post, offering a central location for Inca traders to barter for goods. The tradition persists to this day at Pisac’s well-known market, offering you the opportunity to browse for a wealth of handcrafted textiles and souvenirs made by the local community.
If you happen to be visiting Pisac on a Sunday, witness the town’s famous mass, conducted in both Quechua and Spanish. Observe the town’s collection of dignitaries in attendance, and watching as they play the pututo, a traditional musical instrument.

The scenery heading into the Sacred Valley is fantastic. The Market was amazing and Pisac is a lovely little town. The Inka historic site of Ollantaytambo was fascinating and we had the most delicious lunch in a beautiful restaurant in beautiful gardens. However the best part of the tour was our guide Frank and our trusty driver Jordan. Frank was very knowledgeable, his English is excellent and we learned so much about all spots we saw along the way, the culture, the agriculture of the area, the history and the way of life of the people in these towns. The views are this tour are spectacular. We were the only people on the tour so we were very well cared for! Highly recommend this tour!

This was a very well-rounded and well-paced tour! Pisac and Ollantaytanbo were stunning, and Aldo provided us with plenty of interesting useful information. The included buffet was also delicious and featured a range of Peruvian food that I hadn't been able to try yet. I would also recommend staying on to visit Chinchero if you have the option, it was fascinating and enlightening to see the work that goes into putting together gorgeous alpaca wool products.

The Sacred Valley is quite beautiful. The lunch stop was excellent. The place was very clean, the buffet was plentiful and the grounds were very pretty.

The sites were incredible and a must see. The tour guide was terrible. She was so incredibly rude! If this had been my first Viator tour, it most certainly would have been my last. Also, the bus driver showed up 45 minutes early! We had just ordered our breakfast and didn’t get to eat because he was there so early.

The tour guide was very funny. The views on this trip are exceptional even though there is a lot of driving time. We had a small hike at the end that was too much for our group and not expected from the tour description. Those who went on the hike enjoyed it but the others were left waiting.

My guide Angel was very professional and friend. Being an anthropologies also helped answering a lot of untypical questions from the customer.
the operator is quite flexible to accommodate individual's reqeust esp this is a private tour.
