We had an absolutely wonderful time during this trip. Our guide, Maik, was phenomenal. More than being just a guide, he was quite a knowledgeable resource as he helped us understand the history and cultural significance of the tour and also answered the gazillion questions which my husband and I had!
This entire tour was very well organized, and we were pleasantly surprised that despite it being a fairly long day trip, it was extremely comfortable. It was a last-minute decision for us to include this trip in our Cuzco itinerary, and I am very glad we managed to do it! Honestly, kudos to Maik for being very accommodating with us, and ensuring that we were able to fully enjoy the experience despite all the mini knick-knack incursions we wanted to do during the day!
Give this guy a raise for being so passionate about his work!! Hard to find guides such as him who go the extra mile to keep tourists like us feel welcome!

This was a really well organized tour with our guide Joshua. He not only gave a lot of historical and cultural context during the tour but also clicked wonderful pictures for us. The ride was comfortable and the lunch buffet was also nice.

Excellent tour with Junior. He clearly is very experienced in Inca history. He was very patient and made sure all our questions were answered and ensured we all gelled as a group.

We had a lovely day visiting the Sacred Valley with Karina, who made each place we visited come alive by explaining its history and significance. We enjoyed walking through the terraced agricultural "laboratory" at Moray, learning how the Incas discovered which seeds grew best at different altitudes. The story behind the salt ponds in Maras and the ruins at Ollantaytambo
were equally fascinating. The only disappointment was the textile demonstration in Chinchero, which was minimal and felt canned, and then we felt pressured to buy something even though the prices were quite expensive. The buffet lunch was fine - we enjoyed the hacienda gardens more than the meal. Just driving through the gorgeous scenery of this area was another highlight for us. Thank you, Karina and driver Hirwin, for giving us such an enriching and enjoyable experience.

This was an extraordinary day with our tour guide, Junior. He was kind, gave us a lot of information and he was attentive for us to feel comfortable all day. The tour was as expected with a lot of beautiful places. The plus point was the lunch at the hacienda. A beautiful and tasty buffet at an extraordinary place.

The Sacred Vally tour was good and we got to see the salt mines of Maras and the circular agricultural terraces of Moray which were very different from other experiences on this trip. The buffet lunch at Tunupa was tasty even for us vegetarians and there were several choices of local foods. The climb to the half finished temple of the sun at Ollantaytambo was also very interesting and the story of how the Incas brought those large stones 8 to 12 kms from the nearby mountain was very interesting and challenging. This was a good trip.

Our day trip with Our guide, Maik and driver, Raoul was comfortably packed with exciting activities such as climbing Ollantaytambo and exploring the salt pans/pools. Maik was passionate and a sense of humour. We learned a lot of archaeological and cultural facts about the sacred valley from Maik. It also helps that he knows all the best shots to take of us, avoiding crowds and queues. Food provided at lunch was great. Lastly, we had five people on the tour in a really nice spacious bus which helps when you’re on the road for the whole day.
