Wonderful time

Was a wonderful experience. Lots of interactions with several different types of birds. The trainers used our phones to take some great videos and pictures of us with the birds making some wonderful memories. Breakfast was excellent. This adventure will not disappoint.

Really enjoyed it. Our private tour was well organised from communications, pick up, transport and the falconry. The guide was a lovely guy who had lots of knowledge. The birds were amazing. We got some great photos. Learnt a lot too.

Amin and Raheem our falconers were very friendly knowledgeable. We had an amazing time. Even My 1 year old was able to interact and enjoy it and got to pet sheldon (owl). Each bird had its personality. They were all so beautiful and majestic. Definitely a must do experience!

Amazing Trip

This is an amazing trip. Bought for my husbands birthday. The two guys (sorry can’t remember they names) were excellent and knowledgeable. We flew a falcon, Harris hawk, eagle and two owls. They look video and photos on my phone they were incredible. Highly recommend!

Desert Experience

The trip started at 05:30 hrs with a surprise introduction to Khaimah, a greater spotted eagle, who was perched in the rear of the 4 x 4 vehicle. Then into the desert where we were met by Cesar's assistant Rahim, who offered us a coffee.before the show started. After listening to Cesar's very knowledgeable account of the birds of prey he then demonstrated the techniques used to train them. Then it was our turn to receive the birds onto our outstretched arms and watch at very close quarters the birds feeding. Whilst this was going on Rahim was taking many photographs with my camera. Then onto the desert retreat hotel for breakfast. A truly fantastic experience was delivered expertly by Cesar and his assistant Rahim. Gary & Valerie Marsh - England

Amazing Adventure

I had never done Falconry before and I am so glad I picked Royal Shaheen for this, the falconer Henrik was very knowledgeable about the birds. There were 5 in total, 2 falcons, 1 Owl, 1 Hawk and an Eagle. Each one was good but my favourites were the Owl and the Eagle. The early morning start was well worth it. It was just the 3 of us and the 5 birds out in the desert. I would recommend this activity as it was well organised. It is one of the best things I have ever done. Well done Henrik and Raheem

After doing intensive reasearch on a falconry activity in Dubai we always came back to Royal Shaheen, the provider of this tour. We decided to book the private session which was the best idea at all. Our guide, Werner, picked us up absolutely on time. Since it was still early morning we enjoyed the quiet trip through Dubai ou into the desert, where we arrived after about 45min. Werner always gave us a lot of insight into his business and then we were welcomed in the desert with a nice morning coffee and dates and Rahim, the other guide, welcomed us. Then we had a really private session on falconry with our own chance of flying and holding the birdswhich was a spectacular moment. We were speechless. The follow-up breakfast at the eco resort was the icing on the cake. On our ways back after quite a few hours we never felt rushed in any way, Werner took us to the falcon souk and assisted us in buying falconry souvenirs. It was the best day of our Dubai trip, Thank you Werner, Dave and all the other nice birds

Fantastic experience..we were able to work with five different birds...the drive out was beautiful...the breakfast at the gorgeous desert hotel was delicious...saw a lot of wildlife on the drive...best experience we had in Dubai...the guides, Werner and Rabin were exceptional. If we return to Dubai we will do it again!

What an experience, it was amazing and would recommend to everyone! From the minute we were picked up from our hotel to the drop off at the end of tour, we enjoyed the trip. Our personal guide was friendly and welcoming from the start, the company in the jeep was amazing - Dave the Kestrel and Khaimah the eagle. What a surprise to be travelling with these beautiful birds from the get go. The talk, demonstration, flying and interaction with all the birds was so exciting and the amount of information I learnt was great. We opted for the breakfast which as lovely, to sit in the desert at a luxury hotel was a nice way to relax and eat in the middle of the tour. It was worth the money, we had such a feast! We finished off the tour with a visit to the Falcon center and again was very interesting. If you like birds of prey, getting up close to them and learning more, this tour is for you. Enjoy.

This was the best tour ever. From the moment Werner picked us up he was full of information about not just the birds but all points of interest along the way. We arrived in the desert and were met by Rahim who had dates and coffee for us . We got to fly the birds , falcon ,owl and eagle and we learnt so much about these wonderful birds from very knowable guides. It is obvious that these men don't just do this for a job they are genually fond of and respect these birds. Fantastic trip a must do for anyone visiting Dubai

This is an interactive tour limited to small groups each day that is great experience in the desert. Hendri the guide is great and will give you a lot of information on Dubai, the wildlife reserve and the birds. A lot of fun with Hendri and Rahim working the birds and exciting to see the animals in the desert.

Had a great time - we took our 10 year old daughter and it was a great experience. Would highly recommend this break from shopping and sweltering heat!!
