Wonderful experience through the Highlands
Alena_F, Apr 2024
This tour was absolutely wonderful! Chloe, our tour guide, and Michael, our driver, shared all their knowledge of their homeland with us and organised everything very well. We are very grateful for this experience and look forward to visiting Scotland again.
Response from Host, Apr 2024

We look forwards to welcoming you back to mystical Scotland in the near future. Kind regards, Georgina Highland Experience Tours
Breathtaking views of Highland with great fun
Durgesh_V, Apr 2024
Had a experience of a lifetime in this three days tour of highlands that exceeded my expectation. Well paced with a fun packed itinerary and breathtaking views of Isle of Ski, Lochness, Ben Nevis, quaint little towns as Portree, Luss and Pitrorchy and not to mention the beautiful capital city Inverness. Thanks much to our tour guide “Joe” who have been the best throughout taking care of all our small needs, always on time, fun to be around and very informative with history, culture, art and music of Highlands. For me “Isle of ski” , “Ben Nevis” “Inverness/Lochness” have been the highlights.Would highly recommend to book this 3 day tour , if looking to explore Highlands.
Wonderful

Best Birthday Ever!!! Nov'23
Suzette_M, Nov 2023
After a lifetime of longing to see Scotland, the 3-day Skye & Highlands tour, with guide Ian, was absolutely amazing. It started with finding a "Wee Heeland Coo" and a shiny sign at my seat as a surprise birthday recognition: charming! Ian was a consummate (of-course-kilted) leader, with a wealth of well-told facts and stories, and a few outstanding groaners of jokes, as well as a fun musical playlist. His driving (Sprinter van) felt completely comfortable and safe, even on some pretty hinky roads, and he made every stop a treat with background, suggestions, assisting with photos, pointing out highlights, etc. Top guy! The accommodations at Glencairn & Ardross in Inverness were just a dream, and again a birthday treat of delicious raspberry tarts with a welcoming b-day note -- this level of caring attention to detail by the tour operators and venues was really something special. The space was beautifully appointed, the bed was plush, the bath had towel-warmers and a temperature-set shower, and the breakfast offered so many options, all delicious, in a comfortable, gracious dining room. The sights themselves were plentiful, fun, fascinating and awe-inspiring -- Skye, especially the Quiraing, was... well, i stood on that hilltop and cried with joy. A memory for a lifetime. Though the Old Man tried to hide in the mists, we managed some glimpses We got to feed some Highland Cows, see gorgeous lochs and castles, wander through moving historical sites, visit some engaging towns -- we even dipped our faces into a freezy fairy-blessed stream, encouragd by Ian's tale-spinning and "I'll go first" bravado: every moment was filled with something interesting. Cannot express how fantastic it was. Practical matters: regular and well-timed stops allowed for leg-stretching and a visit to the Loo, and/or to grab a light lunch (lots of options at these stops, we ate well at modest expense), and/or to grab a hot beverage against the typical November chill and wet -- yes, it rained: it's Scotland in November! Properly attired, it was perfectly atmospheric, and the bursts of sunlight were that much more appreciated among the highland mists. Our on-your-own dinners in Inverness were memorable -- especially the required haggis with neeps & tatties, along with some beautiful local salmon and produce Downsides? nearly nil. The van's sound system was spotty, but Ian said there are planned repairs/upgrades: that will be a valuable improvement. The cruise on Loch Ness was brief, a scant half-hour; expected a longer trip; gorgeous scenery and a lovely time, just wish it was a bit longer, an hour at least. For the evenings of DIY dining, i would recommend looking into restaurants and getting reservations beforehand: we were sold out of several venues (found great alternatives, but that was a little grr) Take this tour! If you're lucky, Ian will be your guide, but in any event it will be a wonderful time you'll always remember Thank you for fulfilling a lifelong dream, and giving me the best birthday ever!
Very enjoyable

The breathtaking trip to the Highlands.🥰
Yvonne_H, Oct 2023
We had a lovely trip to Skye with amazing stops on the way there and back. Saturday 21st October until Monday 23rd October 2023. Our guide was Stephan. Stephan made or trip fun, informative and educational and unique. I would definitely recommend this trip with Viator. And of course, without doubt I would recommend requesting Stephan. We stayed two nights in Inverness at Ardross Glencairn Guest House. It was very comfortable with a lovely breakfast. Skye is breathtakingly beautiful and Stephan knew where to take us for the best views and photo opportunities. Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Loch Ness, Glencoe, Fort William, Inverness, Clava Cairns, Culloden, Cairngorms, Pitlochry, Edinburgh. All stunning. Thank you again. Yvonne.
Amazing tour guide, Jamie

Jamie, the tour guide, had amazing humor and hospitality and ensured a smooth journey throughout the 3 days. He took us to the best spots around the Scottish highlands and enthralled us with Scottish history throughout the drip - he was undoubtedly our highlight of the trip.
Great tour with Brodie!
ShelbyOberg, Oct 2023
We went on a 3 day tour of the Highlands/Isle of Skye with Brodie as our guide and had a wonderful experience! He was entertaining and did an excellent job driving in tricky conditions. There was an issue on the first day with our bus leading to a short delay but during that time he made sure the group was in a place with refreshments/restrooms and took some of us on a beautiful hike to pass time until the replacement bus arrived. The accommodations in Inverness were comfortable and Brodie gave great recommendations for places to eat. All of the stops were beautiful and fun to see. Overall we enjoyed the tour and guide both tremendously and would highly recommend!!
Great tour guide....

Visit to Culloden was most memorable and enjoyable. A bit more time there after the long drive would have been appreciated.

Andy's enthusiasm and knowledge were inspiring. We felt we experienced Scotland not just toured it. Beautiful sights and good recommendations. Thanks!
Great Experience
Herbert_S, Sep 2023
John, our bus driver was great with his service, great stories and corny jokes. He was very responsive to special requests and any other questions. He covered the safety aspects of our tour very well and was great driver. The hotel was old and clean but did have some issues with the bathroom fan not working. The breakfast was very good at the hotel.
Finding Magic in the Highlands
Elizebeth_R, Sep 2023
Our tour guide/bus driver, Paul Stokes, was excellent. His knowledge of Scottish history was unparalleled, and his bus skills were amazing. I loved everything we saw and did. I would have liked another hour at Culloden.
Thanks Steven B for a great 3 days!
James_M, Sep 2023
Steven B took us to so many places off the beaten path. He had a profound love of Scotland and its history. He brought music to life through his storytelling. He also gifted us with time just to watch quietly as we traveled and to move about in so many locations. What an incredible trip. Appreciated the experiential aspect of this trip. We were right in the midst of so many things. Steven has a wonderful sense of humor and is so patient and welcoming.
The three day tour is a must!
Reg_P, Sep 2023
I discovered Scotland's sad history and have a great appreciation for them as a people, eapecially after going to the battle sight in Culloden. The scenery in the Highlands is absolutely beautiful. The hospitality and humour of our driver, Steven B, was top notch.

We had a great trip with Brodie as our guide. He did a wonderful job getting us around to see many different sites, while telling us historical information, folklore stories, and some jokes. Brodie was professional, smart and engaging. Just a note to someone considering this trip-Inverness is about 2 hours from Isle of Skye. Day 2 involves driving back and forth, so there is more time in the motor coach, which takes away from time on the Isle of Skye. Having said that, I feel Brodie did a good job getting us around to the major sights while on the island, without feeling like we were rushed. We chose this tour because we had a lot of places that we wanted to see, and this tour got us around to most of them.
