This is a great trip to see as much of the Scottish Highlands as possible. We had an amazing driver and tour guide, Stevie, who was so knowledgeable and fun!
Must do tour; request William
Ed_A, Apr 2024
Really enjoyed Glencoe and Isle of Skye. Wish we had re-watched Harry Potter; GOT; and James Bond Skyfall. William was our tour guide and he was amazing. Highly recommend this tour. Make sure you wear layers and bring a raincoat.
New found love for Scotland!
Mary_S, Apr 2024
My husband and I were extremely pleased with our 3-day Isle of Skye trip with John and Peter. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgable about the sites, the countryside, Scotland's history and the routes taken each day. We saw so many sites, learned so much about Scotland and all the while were comfortable as we traveled all around the Highlands of Scotland. We felt that we had the perfect amount of time at each location to experience the culture and sites. We have a new found love and appreciation for the country of Scotland, all because of this tour. We would HIGHLY recommend the Hairy Coo Tour Company to anyone looking to visit Scotland!
An amazing experience

Brian Smith is an excellent guide for a multi-day tour of Scotland. His enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the country's history shone through during our visit to the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Brian's use of humor and music added depth to his storytelling and kept our entire group engaged throughout the three-day tour. It never felt like he was just providing a tour; he was with us, experiencing the grandeur of this magnificent country. His compelling stories resonated with the group, making the trip an unforgettable experience.

Ajay_B, Mar 2024
Rod: the kids and us thank you so much for serving as an outstanding guide on a wonderful trip. You have an exceptional knowledge of Scotland and its history and thank you for sharing this with us —namely three days of a comprehensive itinerary filled with charming sites A trip we will always cherish !
An absolutely fantastic tour!!
Angela_C, Mar 2024
We couldn't have asked for a better tour and tour guide. Rod was the best tour guide ever. He made the experience engaging, entertaining, and memorable. The sights were absolutely beautiful. I will never forget this trip of a life time.
Great introduction to the Scottish Highlands
Gwendolyn_A, Feb 2024
The 3 days was perfect for us. We experienced a lot of different things and all types of weather, including snow. A nice mix of nature, culture, history and a bit of whiskey. The coach was very comfortable, our group very small (only 5). Our guide Magied was very knowledgeable regarding Scottish history and the highlands. But most of all a very entertaining storyteller!
Wonderful

It is really worth spending the money over here. The tour was really amazing and covered almost all the possible locations. The tour guide named Rod from hairy coo was fantastic, he made the trip a bit more wonderful.
Wow!!! Absolute must see!!
Danielle_O, Nov 2023
Wow!!! I am still in awe at the amount of Scotland we saw in just 3 days! Absolutely breathtaking sights, wonderful shops and restaurants, friendly people and the most amazing guide ever! Scott shared volumes of history, stories, etc. with us throughout the entire experience. He was THE BEST!! I will most definitely be a repeat customer with The Hairy Coo! So impressed!!
A beautiful trip made meaningful because of our wonderful guide William
Swati_T, Oct 2023
My mum, brother and I went for this trip and it was fantastic! William took us for this guided tour and he really made this experience for us. If we had done this tour on our own we would have definitely enjoyed it as Scotland is gorgeous but it were his stories about these regions that gave real meaning to what we were seeing. I found out so much about all the tribes, history as well as the culture of the areas. He was funny, had a great playlist of music, warm, welcoming and personable with everyone and the unique needs of certain passengers. It was a great and easy trip and I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you again William for a great experience.
DO IT
Vanessa_M, Oct 2023
This tour was absolutely incredible! Such an amazing way to see how beautiful Scotland is. There were so many wonderful stops, so much to see, even from just looking out the window of the bus. Our tour guide Rod was phenomenal- give him a raise! He was so fun, had so much knowledge and history to share with us, he made every moment exciting. Best tour ever!
Book It!
Caroline_T, Oct 2023
I couldn’t recommend this tour more! If you are on the fence of booking it, just do it! Our tour guide, Stephen, did an incredible job of keeping the group entertained, while providing great historical facts.
Fun for solo travelers
Nora_D, Oct 2023
Great combination: thoughtful itinerary that left room for individual choice in meals and evening entertainment/activities but also Stephen did a wonderful job of creating a bonded community for fun solo travelers and couples. Lots of history, culture, and natural beauty. USB charging ports in the seats. Plenty of stops for snacks and restrooms. Early departures and full days. Requires a sense of humor.
Excellent experience
Jeff_M, Oct 2023
This tour exceeded expectations, for 3 reasons: -the tour covers a lot of geography, and so you get to see a lot of Scotland that most people would probably never see. -the scenery was much more spectacular than expected, particularly on Day 1 and 2 of the tour. -our guide Anthony did a great job at sharing history, stories, geography, etc, all while being really funny and doing a great job at keeping things well organized. So overall, yes, a highly recommended tour !

KIM_C, Oct 2023
The tour was incredible, very well organised and we got to see amazing sights and places. Our tour guide, Scott, was knowledgeable and fun, he also added loads of entertaining stories to make the trip particularly enjoyable. i highly recommend The Hairy Coo to anyone looking to explore a bit of the Scottish Highlands.
A wonderful way to see the highlands and be entertained by great guides.
Scott_D, Oct 2023
This tour was by far the best of our 2-week trip. The sites were simply breathtaking, and having the coach help us reach so many places in three days was extremely helpful. Our guide, John, was also incredible. He did a fantastic job dispelling myths like "erosion" and told the true stories of giants and faeries that shaped the land and used powerful magic. We were both entertained and comfortable during the trip. Make sure you bring a raincoat, as the weather is a bit unpredictable. Great job to The Hairy Coo and the king of the North. We will certainly recommend this tour to friends and family.
Stunning beauty and great service from our guide Ryan.
ChowChin_C, Sep 2023
Scotland Highland has its unique characteristics and mysterious beauty. The stories told by our driver/guide enrich my understanding of this land, the musics arrangements on the bus boost my passion and touchiness of Scotland‘s past.
Exceptional landscapes of Scotland
Lorraine_P, Sep 2023
The amazing landscapes take your breath away literally with the fresh air. Meeting great people. and great crew of Brian and Rod. Felt safe with Rob driving and Brian brought some great tales and laughter.
