The Fjord is beautiful but overall the cruise is quite expensive for the experience you get. Parking fee could at least be included since you have to pay that on top and it’s honestly pricey. We enjoyed but felt a bit scammed at the end of the day.

As my wife and I were on our honeymoon. The staff onboard made our trip extra special. They went above and beyond knowing it being a special day for us.
The scenery was spectacular
History shared by the captain was very interesting
And his sense of humour was hilarious. A must do if in New Zealand

The 11 am cruise was pleasant, great sunny weather and not too crowded. The boat allowed for enough viewing decks for everyone. Access to tea and coffee was great!

We booked the 9:30am cruise with Pure Milford. An awesome experience! Well worth the journey! it was a beautriful morning with clear blue skies - mountains are majestical.
Staff are professional with a humorous commentator who gave us an interesting account of the region.
Briefly saw dolphins and one seal perched on a rock.
Highly recommend.

It was a remarkable experience. The boat left and came back on time. Accessibility is good, even for wheelchair. The crew was very helpful. We didn't know we had to pick up our boarding tickets at Viator counter at the terminal.

We were able to make it to our cruise right on time due to road construction stops and our own stops while driving. Give yourself lot more time than what Google map estimates. Cruise team were all very friendly youngsters. The guy who gave running commentary for 1:30 hours nonstop was full of interesting info with historical and scientific facts related to what we were seeing. Overall cruise was an hour long ride between mountains/ fjords visiting two waterfalls closeup. It was a mixed climate autumn day with partly cloudy, little rain and windy, in early March 2024. Overall great experience while at NZ.

Great day on the Sound. Capped off with dunking under the waterfall.The journey into the Sound is one of the most scenic and spectacular on the Island.

Too expensive.
Didn’t see that the price was in randomly in US $ instead of NZ $
Nice trip, but there are other agencies with cheaper options.

We believe that pricing for a tour of the Eighth Wonder of the World and this world heriage area is quite fair and in line with our offering, but of course understand that everyone has their own individual budget.

I personally think that if you make the trip to Milford Sound and don't do a cruise around the sound you miss out on so much. The waterfalls were spectacular and seeing the seals and hearing the history of the area was wonderful.
