ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO RIDE CONFIDENDLY A BIKE, AND TO BE IN GOOD HEALTH.

Participants, especially the youngest ones, are required to conduct a safe bike driving and keep a perfect balance on their bike, and they must be able to ride on public roads, on secondary paved roads which are not always in perfect conditions, on downhill roads that can be steep at times.
A minimum of 2 participants (excluding the tour leader) is required. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.

We recommend wearing cycling shorts
The connection between Fiesole and the center of Florence is very convenient, even by public bus. 7 days a week the bus (number 7, Autolinee Toscane - AT), price € 1.70, leaves every 20 minutes and reaches the other location in 20 minutes (last ride from Fiesole to Florence is at 01:00am). The terminal bus address in Florence is Largo Alinari, next the Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Train Station, 650m / 2100ft distance from the Duomo. The Fiesole stop is the last on the bus route. I will tell you the bus schedule the day before the tour. All itineraries are scheduled according to public transport timetables. Tickets are sold by "bar-tabacchi", newsstand or at the automatic ticket machine for buses to the Santa Maria Novella railway station. I recommend purchasing your ticket the day before. Tickets MUST BE VALIDATED ONCE BOARDED.

Best day ever! Giovanni was thoughtful, interesting, and patient with our family. He taught us about the history of Florence and Tuscany, showed us how to navigate safely through the streets, and took us to some of his favorite hidden gems. He was so kind and we loved spending the day with him. A beautiful way to see Tuscany with a wonderful guide 🫶🇮🇹

A must-do unique experience

This was one of the coolest activities we did while in Florence. Perfect way to see the Tuscan countryside with great views of Florence. Giovanni was so professional and helpful. We started out with a little walk around Fiesole and history of the town. Then we practiced riding and he explained everything so well. We were a family of four (11&13 year old girls) and everyone had the best time. Our 11 year old was nervous at first about the turns but Giovani placed her right behind him and made sure she knew what to expect. She is a good bike rider so I was confident she could handle the ride. He just gave her the extra confidence to get her going and she did great. The cars are very respectful of the many bikes on the road and Giovanni made sure we were always safe. We were in good hands with him and the e-bike made all the hills very manageable. Pedaling was slow and steady and the landscape changed from up and down hills so got some good breaks. We also stopped a few times so not 4 hours of riding straight. The stop at the farm for picnic was magical and worth every penny. Truly farm to table. I highly recommend this activity for families with older kids looking to explore Tuscany is a different way.

Highlight of Our Trip

WOW! This was truly one of the highlights of our entire 2 week trip to Italy! Giovanni was our owner/guide and he was amazing, helpful, fun, informative. I almost cancelled thinking it wouldn't be something special and I'm so glad I didn't. Getting out of the city was such a nice break. The countryside is beautiful. Lunch eating some local charcuterie, wine and olive oil was a perfect break. It's not a scooter you are on so you will have to pedal and it is a bit of a workout, but the motor assists you and you can cover a lot of ground. If we get back to Firenze we will definitely look Giovanni up again for another ride. Grazie mille!

Fantastic tour from a local - born and bred in the region. Just sharing his passion of his locality. Great insight into the reality of the artists in the area. Be warned, you will be saddle sore if you have not cycled in a long time. This is not for the faint hearted. However, I loved it, esp the farm visit. Very authentic tour. God speed and enjoy x

We had the best time doing this ride with Giovanni! Beautiful scenery, we laughed and had a great time. Loved the bikes they were fantastic and Giovanni did a great job teaching us how they worked. We did the add on farm to table experience, and it was amazing! HIGHLY recommend! We are still talking about that tour!

What a beautiful day! We enjoyed this tour so much. The Tuscan countryside is truly unmatched! At every turn there was a new picturesque scene to take in. Highly recommend! Don't miss these views of Florence, the vineyards, and olive trees that were truly breathtaking; even in the heat of August! Massimo was an excellent guide and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe on our eBike journey. The bikes were easy to operate and in excellent condition.

Our guide did a great job of combining the sight-seeing items we wanted along with getting in a lot of riding. He was great at letting us set the pace - not too fast or too slow for our family. He shared great insights along with the amazing views and food. Professional, patient, and accommodating. We were able to make some small tweaks to our path, based on what we wanted - like stopping at a water source to fill up our water bottles. The food was delicious, and the Tuscan farm setting was beautiful. The bikes were top notch. I've ridden a lot of e-bikes, but these were the best I've ever taken for a spin. Rugged suspension and powerful batteries lasted far longer than the hours that we rode. Our teenage boys talked about this trip for days afterward. On our way home, they mentioned how this experience was their favorite of the nearly 2 weeks we were in Italy. I have to agree. Our host/guide made this 4-hour experience one that we won't forget! If you enjoy biking and scenic views, then there's no better choice than this one.

A must-see tour

Our favorite "experience" tour of our entire trip to Venice, Florence, and Rome. It's a getaway from the usual crowds of Florence, biking through the beautiful countryside. The views are breathtaking, the ride is exhilarating, the bikes are high quality, and the fresh food is so tasty. It was one of our favorite meals of the trip! Giovanni is the nicest guy and takes you to some really great spots. We can't recommend this tour enough. You must book this tour if you are in Florence or the Fiesole area!

3 out of 4 people in our group got to ride, me 19, mother 48, sister 20 were able to ride. However, my grandmother 75 was unable to ride the electric bikes. They are heavy and go very fast up and down hills. Super super fun if you would love a thrill!! Very cool places to see and such a scenic ride. We biked for about 3 hours and took a 30 minute break to eat veggies, bread, and wine! Awesome experience!!

We had a spectacular guide (Maximilliano or "Massi") who made it such a special and unforgettable experience for my son and myself. The views were spectacular and the ebikes worked flawlessly and made rhe ride very. comfortable for anyone. We also especially enjoyed the meal and winery tour.

Our leader Giovanni was incredible. He was continuously concerned with safety and very aware of the groups comfort level. His instructions for the bike are very clear and made it easy to get riding. His passion for his hometown and family and knowledge of history showed and made the experience much more interpersonal and memorable. This was our best experience of Florence. It was also very obvious how thoughtful he was in choosing the routes to take people on. It was a pleasure to hang out with him for the day!

This was a marvelous experience, and gives a first hand, up front look at Fiesole, italy. Giovanni is the perfect guide/host, and takes good care of everyone. He provided bikes that were solid, easy to ride and in good shape. He's a local to this area, and gives a brick by brick narrative of where you are and what you are seeing. Nice blend of history and current day discussion. You do not need to be a 225 year old Olympic cyclist to do this, as most of it is flat or downhill, although there is enough gentle uphill to make it challenging for some -- Being in good shape aerobically helps a lot. No matter, we enjoyed everything we saw, felt this experience was great value, and so much more real than just a bus ride around the countryside. If you have pretty much any level...

If you have pretty much any level riding experience, you will definitely enjoy this tour. There were a couple of places of steep climbs, but mostly downhill back into Florence. It was about 15 miles mostly through Tuscany. The sites were amazing. Before even getting on the bikes, we toured a 12th century monastery in Fiesole where monks still live today. It turned out that my wife, two sons and I were the only ones in our group so we had a private tour. Our tour guide, Giovanni, was great. Very engaging, personable and answered any questions we had. You could tell he really enjoyed doing these bike rides. We even got to meet his father once we got to the starting point of the ride. All of us agreed this was the highlight of all the tours we did in Rome, Florence, Bologna and Venice.
