Incredible, unforgettable experience

This was such a special tour. The guide had such unbelievable stories of the war, given his entire family had been in the VietCong. It was also a relatively small group so we really got a personal experience. I'd highly recommend this tour.

Wow! This was an amazing tour! Our guide, Tan, shared SO much history and background regarding Cu Chi and Vietnam in the 19th and 20th centuries - I was transfixed by it all! To see and learn about this history firsthand is truly an incredible experience and he made it very easy and pleasant for us. Don’t come to Ho Chi Minh and miss the tunnels!

Overall a good tour although can be skipped if you do not have the time. I think we got bored mainly because of the heat and also we could not understand our tour guide THANH very well.

A nice trip to the tunnels. Efficient pickup and relaxing drive out. Tanh was a good guide and very kind. The tunnels themselves are full of tourists and this sort of detracted from my trip, but this has no bearing on the tour and our guide.

Great trip, interesting, the transport was totallz fine, Ruby gave us nice intro, with her cute English and poisitve energy. The only thing I did not like was the shooting range. Of course full of non Asian people. No offense, but going for a shooting range at such place is like trying to light a fire in crematorium on Auschwitz, Poland, just to enjoy the experience. Really?Weather was good, not super hot, clear sky. The whole trip was just great. Only recommendation: I deciced to take long sleeves because I read that is polite and kinda respectful to Vietnam culture. But then I saw majority of people was in shorts. Which, honestly, I definitely recommend :)

Tan provided an excellent overview of the Cu Chi tunnels, as well as providing context around what led to their creation. He shared that his parents were actually former Viet Cong and shared important details that helped bring to life what it meant to survive underground. Tour was timely, well run, and conducted with key historical detail. Helpful for day 1 in HCMC!

This trip doesn't include hotel pick up, which we didn't spot when we were looking, not a problem for us but beware. Guide was very charming and knowledgeable and her English was superb, a lovely guide to have. Apart from the one tunnel that everyone has the opportunity to go through, we were able to go through tunnels connecting the kitchen and meeting room as well. As said before, although busy, the guide was able to navigate us round so we had chance to see everything without being overcrowded. Driver did an excellent job negotiating the HCM traffic.
