Memorial Worth the Visit

This is a must see for any American or general history buff. Very well organized with an informative video before heading out to the memorial. A limited time on the memorial, but you're told that ahead of time. Very nice gift shop. We didn't do the submarine. The city tour was interesting as well, but the Arizona is the highlight. I'm not American, but it's still an emotional visit. Worth the price, definitely.

Tour a must when visiting Waikiki

Very interesting tour. Everyone coming to waikiki should be sure to go on this tour. Our tour guide Rowan made the tour of downtown Honolulu very interesting. The snacks ,water and juice were a nice touch.

Pearl Harbor/Honolulu downtown tour

The USS Arizona memorial and Pearl Harbor museums were reverent and informational. Would have like to stay 1-2 hr more, but we had the drive around Honolulu to finish, which was also nice. Our driver (who did most of the narration in the bus) and our guide were knowledgeable and friendly. However, our minibus was cramped and a bit noisy, and the driver was difficult at times to hear since he did not have a mic.

The entire trip was memorable. Our driver, Thomas was extremely knowledgeable about Hawaiian history and culture. The tips we received about the best ways to navigate the memorial we on total point. The city tour gave us addition perspective and information about Hawaiian history.

The time for the Arizona Memorial program is set by the U.S. federal government. It is a set time for everybody. Over 1.2 million people a year visit the Memorial, and nobody can get more time, nobody can get less time, and they cannot allow people to stay whatever time they want. You go with the boat to the monument as part of 150 people in a group, and you come back with the same group. You spend about 20 to 25 minutes on the Memorial, and it is five times more than enough according to our understanding, after providing service to millions of people. We hope the information above clarifies and answers your concern. We all were heartbroken when we saw that, for the wonderful service we provided, and as you mentioned, the tour driver was also good, you put a one-star review. Please change your review if you understand the above clarification.

Loved Pearl Harbor. Great way to finish off our vacation. 3 hours is not enough time for this tour. Kids really wanted to go tour the Missouri and we did not get a chance to make it there. This was supposed to be a 5 hour tour but only three is Pearl Harbour. In the three hours we were able to do one museum, the movie, the Arizona Memorial and the submarine. Also tour van was very crowded which made ride uncomfortable and we were in back and the ride was very hot especially after the tour. Loved the shirt but wish each person that was in my party got a shirt and it wasn’t one per party. Info does say one per reservation. Thought that meant I had three reservations for Pearl Harbor and would get three shirts.

Your review does point out that you did not understand what was included in your tour. The tour that you booked has a duration of five hours from pickup to drop off. This tour is for the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and the Arizona Memorial, with pre-arranged tickets for the Arizona Memorial included for each person. You mentioned that you did not have time to see the USS Missouri. The USS Missouri is not a part of this tour and is not even in the inclusions. Because of this, no time is allocated for it. We have a tour that includes the USS Missouri Battleship. That tour is longer, more expensive, and includes tickets for the USS Missouri in addition to the pre-arranged Arizona Memorial tickets. We are glad that you liked the T-shirt. It was a free gift from our company to you. Here, once more, you misunderstand the inclusions. One reservation for three people is not the same as three reservations. This is the same, no matter where you go. The T-shirts are a free gift that we added to the tour as a little something extra for our customers. It is not intended to be the main feature of a tour. You could make three separate reservations for three people and get three T-shirts, but there would be no guarantee that you would all be in the same vehicle or at the same time. We are disappointed and hurt that a large part of your review is based on your not understanding the clearly written inclusions. It is like going to a restaurant and ordering a hamburger and complaining that you did not receive a chicken sandwich in addition to your hamburger. Once taking the time to leave a review. We ask you to consider removing your review because it hurts us inside.
