Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking. If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East. If you stay in Ton Sai, please come to the meeting point at Phra Nang Inn reception in Ao Nang. If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang. This trip was one of the highlights of our holiday. Pick up was on time and we had a pleasant drive to the National park with a short comfort break included. On arrival we were met by our informative and entertaining guide “two” who look us to our longboat. We were 9 people in total so had plenty of room to move about the boat for photo opportunities. Lunch was tasty and there was time for swimming or kayaking after. We had a walk through the rainforest and then transferred to a bamboo raft for our visit to the caves before making our way by longboat back to the bus pick up point.

Halong Bay visitors would not need to go

Guide was doing his best but felt the day really gets dragged out longer then needed. If you've been to Halong Bay in Vietnam there would be no need to do this trip at all. Rock formations but not single island structures like Halong. (this is more like coastline), caves, kayaking, swimming etc. Jungle and cage was ordinary, lunch was nice, kayaking and swimming was what you would expect. Would not want to do this in peak season as would be very busy at lunch, swimming area. Overall I feel if your time or activity schedule was full you could easily leave this one off and have a chilled day by the pool where you're staying.

Hike was good, wish I had a better experience

Although I loved the hike and the cave, the hiking guide took a liking to me. He continued to separate me from the group, insinuating that we could go and get intimate in the huts along the hike and then telling me to meet him in the bathroom at the end of the hike. He made several remarks that made me uncomfortable and like I said, continued to separate me from the rest of the group. I was a solo traveler and felt uncomfortable to say the least

Quite a long day, but a well organised tour. The minibus was clean and comfortable. Naturally the tour was quite quick, and only really included two main activities (a photograph stop at the classic viewpoint and a short hike and bamboo raft to an amazing and unique cave), as well as being on the lake itself. Bear in mind that it is an artificial reservoir and not a natural lake. It is a shame we didn't really see much wildlife on the walk, but it was still enjoyable to be in the rainforest. The included lunch was very good - quite a few dishes and plenty of food. The tour guide expressed that he didn't feel the group were interested enough, which was a bit strange and unfair as we did not get this impression. Overall, though, we found him informative and friendly.

Beautiful tour, but not very active

We did this tour on 25-02-2023. The trip was well organized and there were beautiful sights on the lake. However, it was not as active as we had hoped. A lot of time was reserved for lunch, for chilling by ourselves at the restaurant, and waiting around. The actual hike to the Coral cave was maybe 20 minutes one way and this was the only active thing we did.

Had a great time on this tour - pick up was on time (even when we had to change hotels last minute!), tour guides were lovely and food was very tasty - would definitely recommend if you want to experience the National Park without staying overnight!

While the tour is truly a full day, 12 hours from pick-up to drop-off for us, it is truly worth taking the time to do. The park and the lake are stunning with rock formations unlike you will see anywhere else. We could barely stop taking pictures of the scenery. Lunch at the raft house was large and delicious. We had chicken green curry, deep fried fish, and veggies. They offer a vegan or vegetarian option if requested. The second part of the tour with the bamboo raft ride, jungle hike, and cave walk also provide a truly unique experience. Rudy, our guide, was very knowledgeable providing information on the history of the lake, aspects of the cave, and pointing out signs of wildlife. We saw monkeys, various lizards, as well as elephant and tapir trails. Rudy was able to get us to the popular spots while avoiding the crowds of other tour groups. Plenty of cold water and tea was provided.

The best trip in Thailand!!!

Our trip began with on time hotel pick up by mini van. On the way to Khao Sok National park we had a quick stop for toilet in street market. After coming to the park our quide Rudy bought us tickets and we boarded our long tail boat. After one hour ride we went for easy but interesting jungle trekking, we saw tarantulas, monkeys, elephant tracks and so on... than the Bamboo lady took us to the coral cave on her bamboo boat. After coming back from hike we had great lunch at the raft house and than we had time for kayaking or swiming while watching monkeys in the jungle. For the end of our trip we went to iconic Khao Sam Kloe and had time to take some pictures and enjoy the view. Than sunset ride back to the village and hotel drop off around 7PM. We really enjoyed our trip and would recommend it to everyone who likes adventure. We were only 4 people and our amazing guide Rudy who knows the area very well, THANK YOU :)

Nice nature experience

They picked us up at our hotel 40 minutes late, but when we got to Khao Sok and met our guide for the trip, everything went great from there. It was one of a kind experience and was very peaceful to sail in the park. We had Birkenstocks on and had no trouble walking the hike, so sandals would be fine for this trip. We were only four people on our trip, so it was very nice and comfortable. Be sure to not any others plans the day you go. We were not home before 8 pm so we were gone for 13 hours. We would definitely recommend this trip - especially if you are travelling with friends or as a couple.

Most beautiful place, but too long in one spot

Our tour guide was incredible, and the trip said "no more than 12 people," which there was more than 12 on our boat... but overall it was a good tour. That said, we spent a LOT of time in one place, when I think that a couple of hours would have been fine. Also, I would have liked to skip the cave at the end to save a little time. I'd say you get a lot for the money, but be prepared to spend hours in one place and if coming from Krabi, two hours in the car each way.

I recently took this tour from Krabi Town and despite some awful weather, still found it a really good tour. We started the day with an early pick up and our driver Rudy drove us to Khao Sok National Park, stopping once along the way for a snack/toilet break. Once we arrived at Cheow Lan Lake we boarded a longtail boat with 9 other people, who were staying closer to the park, making 11 of us in total. The boat trip took us for about 45mins along the lake, through some stunning scenery. Sadly we had some of the heaviest rain Ive ever seen, but for us this made it all a little bit more fun! After viewing some interesting rock formations we were taken to a nearby floating restaurant/activity centre, where you could choose to Kayak just pay a deposit, swim in the lake or just relax. As the rain was still terrible, most of us opted to relax until our lunch was served. The lunch was very good and they catered for the four vegetarians in our group. The meal was green curry, rice, vegetables, omelette and Fish for the meat eaters After lunch those of us who had paid for the jungle hike included in the price of this tour were taken back out on the boat to a different part of the lake. From there our guide took us on a hike through the jungle. At this point the rain was horrendous, the tracks were more like small streams and very muddy. That being said, we spotted a tarantula and some Horned lizards Along the way. After about 45mins of hiking we arrived at another lake. Here we took a motorised bamboo raft out to a cave. Here we left the raft and were tuided through a cave with headlamps. Our guide was very good at showing us stalactites and stalagmites, as well as some large huntsmen spiders, bats and cave crickets. There was also a small monkey hanging around near the entrance to the cave. The route back was even wetter we didnt realise this was possible. Despite spending hours in incredibly heavy rainfall, the trip was very good and the guides/drivers excellent too. I would definitely recommend this trip, as the park and lakes are stunning

Our driver was Rudy, and he was very nice and hospitable! He stopped by a 7-11 on the way for us to grab a quick bite to eat and offered us bananas. Furek was our guide and he was also very hospitable and knowledgeable about the park. This was one of my favorite tours in Thailand. Highly recommend!

Relaxte autorit door groene omgeving. Boottocht over het meer is leuk en de omgeving van het meer is prachtig. Als je geen zin heb in lange hikes door de jungle hoef je geen hotel te boeken bij Khai Sok en is dit een prima excursie dagje incl uitstekende lunch.

Die Autofahrt von Krabi beträgt ca 2 Std. Die Bootstour war ein Traum. Das spritzige Wasser ist jedoch etwas nervig. Die Besichtigung der Höhle war interessant, dauerte ca 15 Min. Von der Dschungelwanderung waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Diese dauerte nur 20 Min. Hier hatten wir viel mehr erwartet. Tiere hat man nicht gesehen. Die Speisen am Bootshaus hatten uns leoder nicht geschmeckt. Zudem sehr viele Touris. Keine Entspannung. Der Preis definitiv zu hoch für diese Tour. Allgemein würden wir diese Tour schon empfehlen. Allerdings würden wir hier eine private Tour empfehlen.
