        We’ll meet at Tanbaguchi Station (丹波口駅), which is 4 min from Kyoto Station by train (Sagano (San-in) Line). There’s only 1 exit at Tanbaguchi Station. We’ll meet right outside the ticket gates, in the waiting area with chairs. After class, you can return to the station or explore Kyoto on your own!

        We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class. Nariko, our chef/instructor, was welcoming and friendly and very knowledgeable. We gained a lot of insights into gyoza and ramen cooking. We have already recommended this course to friends planning to visit Japan later this year.

        Great experience. It was not entirely from scratch, but that’s fine as it would take too long otherwise. We had a lot of fun and Nariko is a good teacher. Thanks!

        We enjoyed this very small class so much. We truly rolled up our sleeves and made all of the food ourselves! We learned so much. And on top of it, it was delicious!!! And all of the recipes are shared with you after.

        We thoroughly enjoyed Nariko's cooking class. For all of us, it was our first time making gyozas from scratch (including the gyoza pastry) and regardless, the outcome was very tasty and surprisingly all gyozas held together well. Would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Kyoto.

        Awesome experience. Got to cook ramen and gyoza from an old family recipe. Host was fantastic and explained everything the whole way thru. Included our 7 year old who loved it.
