    This was a must do in Kyoto, I cannot recommend it enough. Kana is an incredible teacher and host ! Her warm and charming disposition lights up the room and sets the stage for a magical experience. The food and quality of the sushi was awesome and I can’t wait to practice what we learned very soon!

    This is one of the best food making tours I’ve been on. Kana and her assistant were absolutely fantastic hosts. We learnt about different traditions whilst learning how to make 3 kinds of sushi which was all delicious. Very clean, hygienic and well thought out food class. Thank you so much!

    Kana and her team were the best. In a happy, welcoming and clean environment we got to make some excellent fresh sushi ourselves. My daughter and I think it's the best experience we've had in Japan so far. Don't eat a big meal beforehand as you make a lot of sushi and it would be a shame not to eat out all.

    This was our families favourite experience in Kyoto! Kana and her assistant were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient particularly with our kids (13 & 9) and gave us so many great tips for sushi making! We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the general conversations with them both!

    This was such an amazing experience. I would highly recommend, especially for a family. We have three children all eight and under and they were captivated the entire time and did really well. Kana was so patient with them and made the whole experience fun and educational. I’m ready to go back home and put these skills to use!

    This sushi making experience was a lot of fun! The host, Kana, is really helpful, patient, friendly and speaks good English. I went on my own and enjoyed chatting with the other guests there and we shared tips on places to check out around Kyoto. As much as I love sightseeing it was nice to take a break from it for a while and experience a bit of the culture first-hand. Highly recommend visiting when in Kyoto and especially if you're heading to Fushimi Inari Shrine as it's located close by!

    Attended the sushi making with our adult son. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Not only did we learn a lot about sushi making, but also about the culture of Japan. Would definitely recommend. Staff was excellent!

    Hands down, one of our favorite experiences during our 2 weeks in Japan! Kana was so sweet and funny while teaching my family (which includes an 8 year old) how to make sushi. So glad we did this while in Kyoto!

    Kana was fantastic. Full of detailed instruction and encouragement she made us feel comfortable and confident. And her parting gifts were both personal and thoughtful. Btw your finished creations will make you proud and the ingredients are so fresh that they will taste delicious. Be advised that you are asked to take off your shoes and walk upstairs to a very nice room. My family all left full, remarking that it was one of our favorite excursions ever.

    The teachers where such nice people to start off with, giving you nice little info drops on Kyoto and the house you are in! When it got to making sushi our teacher was very nice and patient and really talks about the sushi and where it comes from, leaving you with more info on sushi then when you came in. All in all if you’re looking to make some sushi from scratch ingredients and have an amazing dinner you made yourself then this is the course for you! Also there’s a nice little surprise at the end! Go try it!!
