        We are not accept the child under 12 years old. Please bring your socks or come with your socks. Barefoot does not acceptable. We have the socks in pay if you will not being your socks. Please note we can not offer the class if you are late more than 15 min to starting time.

      • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
      • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

      Aya was the perfect hostess. She explained everything beautifully, and gently guided us through the whole process. We walked away with a great deal of appreciation for the ritual, and for her as well, given how many years she has been training to do this perfectly. One of the highlights of our visit to Kyoto!

      This was a highlight of our two weeks in Japan! Very knowledgeable and inspired me to creat my own matcha and ritual. The matcha was delicious and she spoke very good English and was so patient with us. I would highly recommend. Also a great location; you can walk to Nijo castle afterwards.

      We loved learning about the nuances and subtleties of the Japanese Tea Ceremony. No matter how badly we mangled the Japanese language or bumbled the ceremonial instructions our hosts were gracious and fun. Most enjoyable!
