Fun Times With Great Guide and Tasty Sake

We had a great time with Karen (Karie) on our sake tasting tour. She was great to hang out and talk with and the sake and food (food purchased separately at sake tasting restaurant) was very good. It ended up only being myself, my wife, and another adventure loving tourist along with Karie but that made it nice and quant and simple. Definitely recommend. Oh, and we drank “all the sake” and had a strong “buzz” but by no means was “drunk”, so it was a good balance and we learned a lot at the museum as well as during our sake tasting/meal.

had a really wonderful time in kyoto, our tour guide was yuka, she was very informative and helpful and even took time after the tour to show us to a liquor store to find a specific sake we had. 10/10 experience if you're going to kyoto, sign up for this!

Tour guide didn’t show up after we waited 20 minutes past the start time. Had to contact support and were told they were running 15 minutes late. At least they issued a refund.

A wonderful afternoon. But for the tour, we probably would not have found this area. The neighborhood is full of history, cool shops, snd coffee bars. At the end, we tried a wide variety of sakes all produced nearby. Our guide Karin was informative and very personable, and made the experience a grand success.

Eri was a great guide! The museum and brewery were really interesting and very English-accessible, but of course sitting down with the sake at the end, getting to talk to our little group of fellow tourists was especially fun. All of the sake was amazing, thank you!
Sake Museum and Many Tastings!

Eri, our tour guide was great fun, along with her apprentice, Karen (?). We met easily at the train station, and after a brief walk we stopped at the Gekkeiken Sake Museum. The short video presentation was excellent, educating us on the sake making process. Lots of historical memorabilia to view, then on to the sake tasting. After a few tastings there, we went to the sake bar for 18 tastings and some great food. So much fun! Highly recommend! Thank you!
Fun Tour with Amazing Hosts

Hikaru and Yuka are a great team. They educated us on the beginnings of how sake was made in Japan. Then we drank to our hearts content. The sake was amazing but the company was better. My Mom and I had a great time on this tour and would truly recommend it to anyone going to Kyoto

Fun Sake Brewery Tour

My husband and I were the only two people in our group so we ended up having a private tour. Hikaru, our guide, was very sweet and let us go at our own pace. The final bar where we had our main sake tasting was off the beaten path and I'm sure we wouldn't have found it on our own. It was definitely worth the money!
