Chef Luigi was so entertaining and knowledgeable, both for the wine tasting but also for lunch at his restaurant afterwards. The expert pairing with local meats/cheeses/risotto was incredible. We would strongly recommend making this a part of your trip to Bellagio!

We had a great time with the chef. A lovely setting in the wine cellar of his restaurant. We had 4 wine pairings which were fabulous. He explained the wines and related topics. A nice option for anyone looking for a small group wine tasting in Bellagio.

Luigi is very knowledge and knows how to make you relax as you sample his fine wines. The atmosphere in the wine cellar is fantastic. Don’t miss this opportunity to sample these wines, meet Luigi and have a great time. We followed this up with dinner at his restaurant above the wine cellar. Staff and food are fabulous.

DO NOT book this if you are staying in Milan. The up front information said that transportation was included. We later learned that no hotels in Milan qualified for the transportation. The upfront information did not include where the restaurant was located that was holding the wine tasting or the added dinner. A week before the excursion, I called Viator to find out more information about where we were to go, finally was told the restaurant was in Bellagio, that we would need to take a train to Vereena, then take the ferry to Bellagio!!! We could get there for the 5:00 wine tasting, but we could not get the ferry or train back to Milan after the wine tasting and dinner that we had requested. Because this was a no refund ticket, we chose to forfeit our money because of the lack of promised transportation to/from our hotel.

THEREFORE, THIS PLACE CANNOT BE RECOMMENDED!!!
We thought we should have the nicest evening of our holiday here. We had read that this was supposed to be the best, of the best. We spent about two hours transporting ourselves to the site, with high hopes. When we arrived the place was closed and there was no one to be seen. We waited for approximately 10 minutes, after which we called the number given in the booking. There we were then told that they had canceled the booking on this day, and then they claimed to have contacted us, but we had received neither a message nor a call. Very strange, and very unfortunate.
In addition, the service we received was neither friendly nor nice. Although we explained our situation to the woman we got hold of, there was no good service to be had.
Kind regards, two very upset and disappointed "guests"

Chef Luigi was great! We were a large group of 15 and he personally picked us up (in multiple vehicles). We had a fun speedy ride up to his restaurant, and the laughs never stopped! Wine and pairings were wonderful. One of the wines was from a €150 bottle. This tasting was a highlight of our trip to Lake Como, which is saying something!

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel until we were dropped off - we had a great experience! Luigi and his family were not only fun but combined with a great wine tasting - followed by a great dinner! Service and detail attention was first class - it was my wife’s birthday and Luigi presented her with a gift plate for her birthday- if you can- go here - you will love it!!

Chef Luigi picked us up in tow and then educated and entertain us with information and stories about Italian wines, it was great. We then stayed for dinner which was even better and then he drove us back to our Airbnb. Could not have been a better meal or experience

Chef Luigi has a great knack for being able to teach you the basics of wine while making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I’m was a novice when I walked in, but I can hold my own walking out.
Plus, the staff and the food are out of this world. I highly recommend staying for dinner and putting what you learned into practice.
