What To Expect
This Grand Canyon sightseeing tour begins with a hotel limousine pickup in Las Vegas, followed by a 45-minute flight to the Grand Canyon.
After boarding the helicopter, the flight passes over sites such as the famous Hoover Dam, a modern marvel of engineering, and the aqua waters and sandstone shorelines of beautiful Lake Mead. From take off to landing the whole experience was outstanding. From the picnic site you could appreciate the scale of your surroundings especially the boats on the river below. Pilot Charles was excellent and gave a good commentary answering questions as we flew along.
Music through the headphones great especially taking off to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Very late 1960's.

My wife and I had been on this tour before, and wanted to share it with my son and his wife. It was incredible the first time and even better the second. The views, picture opportunities and overall flight were fantastic. Our pilot was amazing and knowledgeable. It was not cheap, but definitely worth the money!

Considering we thought we were going to die, I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone if the weather looks iffy. Our pilot was the only 1 out of the several others that took off shortly after us who thought it would be safe to fly into a thunderstorm & land in the Grand Canyon. It was so windy that I had to steady myself (I'm not petite, 5'9" & 150 lbs.) It was terrifying to be flying in the canyon in such high winds & thunderstorms. Not sure why this pilot was allowed to take such a risk with 6 passengers on board.
