What To Expect

Get picked up at your Las Vegas hotel and ride to the heliport.

Board an Eco-Star helicopter for your sunset helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. While you make your way to the canyon, fly over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, taking in stunning views. You can also put on headphones and listen to fun facts about the Grand Canyon as you soar.

Once in the canyon, your pilot stops your ride for a quick break. He or she lands your helicopter on a private bluff for a Champagne toast and a light snack where you can sit under a Native American Ramada shelter. This bluff sits 3,500 feet (1,066 meters) below the canyon rim and offers views overlooking the Colorado River.

Afterward, get back into your seat aboard the helicopter, and enjoy the return flight to Vegas. As you fly toward the Vegas Strip, notice the lights lit up below. Take a van ride to your hotel with the whole night still free to explore the casinos and hotels on your own.

Everything about this trip was awesome! Adam was our top-notch pilot. Views were outstanding! Would recommend a travel sickness med a hour before the flight, just to be safe. Choppers have a unique flight feel to them and some people don't fair well to that.

We wanted a private helicopter tour, in an online chat one of the viator's colleagues indicated that we were in the best place, because this program would be right for us. We complain that the last sentence of the prospectus, according to which this can be a small group trip if more people apply for it. We found out afterwards that it could have been a private trip if we had bought all 7 seats. We wanted to discuss this with the organizer on the spot, even buying the seats. Unfortunately this was not possible.... We did not receive compensation, there was no refund for the trip. We didn't take off because nothing was according to the promised program. We didn't see any prepared champagne or cheese platters. We lost a lot of money, we don't go to programs through viator anymore. We think this should be highlighted more that this is a group program! Next time, we will only arrange such a program directly.
