Great tour and amazing guide.

The tour was perfect. Sabrina gave us an overview of both of our stops, which was Florence and Pisa, and then we had free time on our own in both. On the way to Florence, she told us many facts and pointed out points of interest along the way.

Our ship couldn’t dock so we are out are money as no one will get back to us. I would think they would contact us at the very least as we didn’t show up. No fault of ours

Ride from hell to a good venue

Dreadful driver outbound. Too fast and akin to a fairground ride over speed bumps. Poorly maintained air vents made for a very cold uncomfortable journey. Guide was very good and different vehicle/driver on return journey showed how it should be done.

Pisa on a time crunch

Alice was our guide she was great. It was a great tour. Well organized. Got us back in time for our cruise shuttle pick up. Must see Pisa. Next time will spend the day there. Climb to the top of the tower it’s worth it.

It was very easy to find the meet location and guide, the bus was very comfortable, and the guide was pleasant. She made sure the group knew where and when to meet at the end of the excursion. The site itself was amazing.

NO customer service if you need any kind of refund. Booked tower and didn’t get tower tickets

I booked the tour WITH the tower and paid 50+ dollars for each traveler. When we met up with the tour leader she said the tickets for the tower ran out, so the operator will be giving us a refund. It’s been more than 24 hours and I’ve been kicked back and forth between Viator and the operator. There’s no resolution and no refund for the tower ticket price. HORRIBLE!! Do not book

Pisa, a must stop in Italy. Not only is the leaning tower a must but the surrounds are outstanding. Good restaurants for a lunch.

The tour guide was good but she did the tour in both English and Spanish which was not as advertised. She seemed to cater to the Spanish speakers on the tour. It would have been nicer if she would have taken a little more time to tell us what we could see at Pisa before we got there instead of afterwards. We both had canes and needed to walk slower. The walk from where the bus stopped to the entrance was over 10 minutes

Sarah’s English was very difficult to understand. The bus trip was worth the price. Single file up 230 steps to top not for anyone with walking difficulties.

Of course Pisa is a must do when cruising. This tour was a good value and it was exactly the right amount of time (not too long or short). Comfortable transportation, great and friendly guide who gave lots of information and also gave us time to explore on our own. The communication was also great with regards to taking the shuttle from the cruise and where to meet. Highly recommend.

Long walks and zero taxis

The tour operator did the best they could but quite simply, the infrastructure of Pisa simply wasn't there. The guide and driver were wonderful. The walks were much longer than anticipated and there were zero taxis available. Getting from the cruise port to center city Livorno was difficult. Again, no taxis to help get us there. Those taxis that were at the port weren't interested in taking us to Livorno. They wanted bigger fares to Florence and such.

We originally planned to go on this tour with Shore Emotion, but it was cancelled due to illness. We were offered the full day trip to Pisa and Florence instead (for the same price), which we accepted. We had a wonderful day and could not fault it in any way. The wine, bruschetta, traditional meats and bread at a restaurant in Florence was an unexpected bonus! Very highly recommended.
