What To Expect

Meet your guide at the departure location near Lambeth North station to chose your bike and get ready for your tour. Your guide will escort you along the riverside, down side roads and alleyways through central London. Stop along the way to admire the amazing engineering achievement of the London Eye and hear the story of Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament.

Continuing along the river, cross Lambeth Bridge and cycle past the small red brick houses that line the streets. Pass through the courtyard of Westminster School – from which you can admire the belfry of Westminster Abbey – then over to St. James Park, and Buckingham Palace. Afterward, head back to central London, where you'll continue through Trafalgar Square before cycling to Covent Garden.

Take a break to watch some street theater in the Market Piazza before getting back on the bikes. Your ride takes you through London's legal district and over to the colorful Smithfield Market.

Finally, stop for a look at St. Paul's Cathedral and then cross the Thames River heading south back to the starting point.

This is a great way to see London. Our tour guide Connor was fun and very informative. Easy biking through the city but you do need to watch the traffic at intersections and just not follow the group.

Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide was Ollie and he was knowledgeable and hysterical… Especially loved how he played British tunes from his bike as we cruised through the streets of London. Appreciated that we got to stop for a little break at Covent Gardens… And see both the traditional side of London, as well as the newer /more edgy parts (street graffiti art!). This tour was one of our favorite parts of our trip & I highly recommend!!

Great bike tour of London. This is a great way to see the city. We covered lots of ground but at a very safe, manageable pace for all cycling levels and abilities. Ollie was an entertaining and very knowledgeable guide. Definitely recommend this as a fantastic way to see London.

Absolutely loved this bike tour. I was with my 15 year old granddaughter and I am in my mid 60’s. Great way to see the London. Nani was the best guide. Very informative and made sure the group stayed together. Would definitely do this tour again if I come back to London.

Our guide Ollie was absolutely amazing and so full of energy and spirit. He blared English rock classics from his own bike speaker and we 9 meandered through the crowds of all the historic landmarks and more on bike, turning many a head with the public tapping to our musical beats as we waved and threw thumbs up signs while we whizzed by. Ollie was a plethora of knowledge about London and is clearly a proud Brit. We saw so much and the tour was supposed to be 3ish hours, but we made it a solid 4 hours of nonstop fun! The city is actually quite biker friendly with dedicated lanes just for cyclists. Meanwhile Ollie gave us time to shoot pics and wander for brief periods, he troubleshot a shoelace accident, with laces entwined in a biker's wheel, we had a dance party on wheels, he remembered everyone's name and used them regularly, all the while smiling ear to ear the whole time. He was absolutely awesome and infectious, and I seriously want to hang out with this guy every time we come to London! Loved this experience, loved this tour, and loved this guide and all the staff at London Bicycle. We highly recommend this for all travelers to London and even local Londoners. You haven't see London until you have seen it on a bike!

Great bike tour with a good guide. Definitely the best way to see the most sites in a short time. We took this tour the first day and it helped us decide where we wanted to re-visit for more time. Tour guide was great in making us comfortable riding with the London traffic patterns. I took away a star because we didn't see everything in the tour description. We never went to St. Pauls, Westminster, or the London Eye and some sights were just pointed out as we passed instead of visited. Overall though, I do recommend a bike tour in London!

Ollie was spectacular. We saw all the major landmarks and got a great introduction to the city. His passion is obvious and you can tell he loves his job. He makes it fun and maneuvers the busy city with ease! Would absolutely do it again. 3.5 hours is not even enough!!

Nani the guide! Informative, full of stories, and always fun to be around. Parts of the route can be congested but overall with patience everywhere, this is a unique way to see the city.

The cycling pace was easy, London is pretty flat. Our guide, Birgit, told good stories. Tour stopped at all the tourist spots for quick photo opp. As an American, I still wants used to riding on the left. Mostly we road in the bike lanes, but occasionally on sidewalks. If one is afraid of riding in traffic, this tour is not for you.
