Good, but...

I enjoyed the tour and the tour guide - informative and fun. I do seriously think London E-Bike needs to upgrade their bikes by investing in new inventory. The bikes seemed old, my brakes did not perform that well, new bike with hydraulic brakes would be a huge improvement. The pedal assist was really bad, it took 3 - 4 revolutions to get the engine going and in a stop-and-go situation like biking around London is, pedal assist was almost useless. So to improve the customer experience, get new bikes!

Younes (sp?) was a wonderful guide! We took the tour on our first full day in London and it really helped us get a lay of the land. His suggestions helped us figure out where we wanted to go back to and spend more time. The bikes were so easy to operate and the small motor really helped us enjoy the sites, you still have to peddle but it helped. You still need to pay close attention to your surroundings, London is a busy busy city but seeing it on the bikes was awesome! My husband and I had a blast!!

This was my second time on Younes’ fabulous bike tour, having done the tour 2 years ago with my daughter, and on this trip, taking my husband and 14-year-old son. We had a terrific morning! One of the great things about this tour is that the guide can be flexible, and in our case, this allowed us an impromptu stop near Buckingham Palace to watch a guard ceremony with the Duke of Kent. Younes is engaging and well-versed in many aspects of British history, which brought the sights to life. An e-bike is a perfect way to see London in that you cover a lot of ground in a very short amount of time and it’s an easy ride. I highly recommend this tour!

Fun quick way to experience London

The e-bike tour was a fun and great way to get around. The weather was perfect for a ride around London so that helped. We got to see a lot of the cool sights like Westminster abbey, clock tower, Gabriel’s wharf, London bridge, and various other sights around the city. Even if you’re not In the best shape the e-bikes are easy to use.

Very late cancellation notice (12 hrs)

I don't like to give bad reviews, but I gave 5 stars to other E-bike tours we took around Europe and it's not fair to give this tour more than 2 stars in comparison. First, we had booked this tours weeks in advance for Thursday morning. On the night before, at 8:42 pm I got a text that our tour was cancelled due to not meeting the minimum capacity. I was very upset about the late notice, but the man I talked to said the night before wasn't late notice. I disagree. Tourists have plans for each day of their vacation and are not flexible to change their plans within 12 hr notice. He wasn't very nice on the phone and emphasized multiple times that is written on viator that tour can get cancelled if they do not meet minimum participants! If you're planning to go in low season beware! We could reschedule to go on the tour another time. Yones was our tour guide and did a very good job navigating us through London on the left side of the road! I wished the tour was more informative, we passed along many interesting buildings, like Royal opera house, but the guide didn't mention all of them. It was more of just getting a feeling of landscape of London.

We’re sorry for the disappointment, but we clearly state on Viator that tours could be cancelled if we do not meet minimum participants (although it’s rare) or weather conditions are not suitable , we offer to reschedule or full refund, there is no way to cancel longer than 12h , because guests could sign up before and minimum participants would be met. We re glad you enjoyed your tour, we have set stops that are timed to respect the schedule , some people have other commitments after the tour , London is rich and has a lots of cultural and historic sites , but this is a monument tour, we encourage our guests to ask any question they wish if a venue or a place has triggered their interest in between stops,

Younis was an amazing guide. We covered a lot of London and this is not something we would be able to do on our own in a short time we are here for. Plus with ebike my feet do t hurt but I still see London and Younis makes it informative and fun. When we come back we will go biking with him again. He was funny smart and very professional. It was cold and he brought me a jacket and basket for my bag. Saved me. Bikes are wonderful.

We had an excellent tour with Younes! If you want to see a lot of London in a short time, this is the tour for you. Younes was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable even cycling through crowded streets. We got many great photos. Younes also sent me suggestions for other things to do and restaurants to try later during our trip.

Not sure I'd do it again

We got multiple messages to be 15 minutes early and we were. He didn't let us enter until 3. Waited for late people so we didn't start until 3:30. No tutorial on bike use. Leader didn't prepare us for the amount of foot and car traffic. There was dome walking. Bikes ran out of power at 5. Didn't finish until after 6...an hour late. Interferred with our evening plans. Length of ride affected by ability of slowest rider but leader didn't adjust for that.

We re sorry that we have not met your expectations, we normally ask our guests to arrive on the dot, we would gladly have let you inside the building when you arrived early, but the reception was crowded and could not accommodate anymore people for 10min :( Yes, one of the bikes developed a fault, when this happens, the guide offered his bike as a rescue option, and this has been refused, the guest said that she’ll happily cycle non-assisted Our apologies again that the tour has taken longer than it should have , festive seasons roads can be overwhelmingly busy! We take every feedback seriously, and surely there are things that we should improve , we have taken notes of things that we could have done differently in order to make your experience pleasant. The ride was nice and the guide was pleasant, the only downside I would say that you are given couple of minutes (3-6 minutes) to visit the market and that's not enough time to buy and try something. As someone who was in London for a day, I wouldn't have another chance to visit the market again.

Thank you Marija for your great review, I m sorry that we let you down by not staying long in the market, the tour is 2 hours and covers most London monuments, stops have to be relatively short but yet informative, as for Borough market, we give 6min for people to browse and build appetite for a later visit , the queues can last long, Long time, and this would have been inconvenient for some who may have commitments right after the tour, when the tour is private, then of course you choose the length of time,. But as a foodie myself, I totally understand!

Highly recommended bike tour with a knowledgeable guide. We covered a ton of attractions. It's a great way to see a lot when you only have a short amount of time. London traffic would have held u up in a car, but we breezed through lots of areas where vehicles aren't allowed, and the London bike lanes are great.

Our Guide was very good in the talking points and getting us around, but we booked for two hours and we were back in an hour and a half. He took photos of us, but forgot to give them to us. It was enjoyable being on the e bikes, but would have love to seen more.

It was wonderful getting around town under our own power. We got right up to the sights, and the knowledge guide gave information. Honestly, at times riding in Lo don traffic was dicey, but it was doable. I would not recommend the trip for those under 16, but if you’ve passed sweet 16, definitely go!
