Can’t recommend this tour enough!!! Our guide in the Atlas Mountains, Ahmed was fantastic! He was so helpful and kind to us. He loves his culture and is proud of his village. We were blown away by what we saw in one day! The lunch was delicious with the most spectacular view!

Day trip to the mountains

We had a great day with Redouane and Aziz. They really looked after us. Would highly recommend a trip with these two.
Great tour

Highly recommend!

We had a GREAT experience! Issmail was an awesome tour guide. Camel ride was super cool and enjoyed seeing the Atlas Mountains. Only things I’d note for people considering is that there’s a stop at a store that sells argan oil and the products are quite expensive compared to prices elsewhere, and there’s also a hike that may be challenging for older people, children, people with injuries, etc. It’s not super strenuous but requires some balance at some points.
A wonderful day trip for the whole family and exceptional value for money!

My husband and two children (aged 12 & 13) had the most wonderful trip. Our driver Bourhim picked us up promptly from our AirB&B and fortunately for us, the other party were a no show, so it ended up being a private tour, which was great. Our first stop was at a pottery shop which also had a toilet and our second stop was at a Argan oil shop where you can also see them making it. My daughters and I even had a go! It was such fun. We then started our journey up the mountain which had beautiful views but unfortunately my daughter got quite travel sick. Obviously going up a mountain is very twisty! We came to a little village where we met our guide Babala. (A little piece of advice here, make sure when you get out of the vehicle you take your hats, water and have very good walking shoes on, as we didn’t realise that this was the start to the hike and we had left it all in the vehicle, so we had to get Bourhim to come back!). Babala spoke excellent English and was so informative all the way, he was such a lovely young man, so attentive and friendly. Our 13 year old isn’t the most energetic but she was fine and the whole hike is only approx 45mins each way. The waterfall is well worth it and you get to see some lovely views and scenery along the way. On our at back on the hike, we called at a local restaurant. Our girls needed to sit in the shade, so Babala went above and beyond to make this happen and to make sure we were all comfortable. Here we ate the most delicious food. You get to choose only chicken or vegetarian option and it’s one choice for both. Three courses of the best value and most delicious meal. You won’t be disappointed! After lunch it was just a short walk back to meet Bourhim and we then started our journey to the desert. Again, my daughter got quite travel sick but Bourhim was very good at stopping when needed to give her a break. We arrived at the desert but I must add, it’s not quite a desert, more baron land, however it did not disappoint and we had the most wonderful experience riding the camels! Over all this was an amazing trip and such great value for money. It was a long day but well worth it. If you are prone to travel sickness then maybe it’s not for you as the roads are so twisty going up and down the mountain. Our girls did love it though, especially the camel ride! Bourhim was great and if you get to choose a guide for the hike, then I highly recommend Babala as he was wonderful!
Wonderful day trip!

Our family had a wonderful time on this full day tour. Lachen our guide was fantastic and so was our driver. My children loved the camel ride and hiking to the beautiful waterfalls. We loved seeing the Berber villages and how Argan oil was made in the woman’s cooperative. Highly recommend this tour!
Great experience with friendly guides!
Joe_C, Apr 2024
This day trip exceeded my expectations. We went in early April and the scenery was really stunning. The mountaintops were covered in snow, the air refreshing, and lots of greenery. Getting just a glimpse into Berber village life was very interesting and educational. The hike isn’t intensive, but you should be able to walk on a treadmill with a vertical incline of 2-4 without much difficulty in order to not feel too labored on the walk. Our guides Abdou (driver) and Mohamed Larbi (hike) were very friendly, spoke English and French well, were very knowledgeable and were a pleasure to spend the day with. I would definitely recommend this trip!
Great Value

The weather put a damper on the excursion but that was out of the operator's control. Great Value for money. Very nice guides. They did not say much but we got a great tour.
Good fun day out

We had a great time with Abdou, who took great care of us on a rare rainy day in the desert and mountains, and had a wealth of information to share.
Loved this tour! Lahcen...

Loved this tour! Lahcen the tour guide was super nice and shared so much about Berber life. Would definitely recommend!
Great Guide and Experience.
MaryIrene_B, Mar 2024
Enjoyed the trip with our driver/guide Adil. Despite the weather he remained cheerful for all of us that we were able to enjoy our camel ride with no rain anymore! Also tasted the best chicken dish ever the Tanjine Chicken! Until now I still kept thinking about it! You also just have to prepare for the 1hr hike and wear hiking boots to see the waterfall and prepare some rainproof wear if the weather is not great.
Wonderful trip!
Samuel_H, Mar 2024
We had a great trip thanks to our guide, Lahcen Mansouri. Despite the rain, we enjoyed a nice breakfast with a tour of an argan oil production cooperative, along with a stop at a shop with some beautiful views. The lunch spot was great (with vistas as well), and we walked around our guide’s village. The camel rides after lunch were a highlight!
Excellent!
Chiagozie_J, Mar 2024
An excellent day excursion into the Atlas mountains. Our guide, Lahcen Monsouri, was such a delight. He picked us up punctually right in front of the Airbnb and kept us all engaged throughout the experience. The highlight of the day was the camel riding. It was the last activity and even though rather short, it was thoroughly enjoyable.
Homely atmosphere

The tour was very nice, people born in that mountain took us on the trip. We felt how glad they are to show us the beauty of their country and to be able to help the community in this way. Lunch was delicious. We recommend.
Great day!

n a trip of fabulous moments, possibly the best of the trip. Travelled with fabulous French couple and a lovely guide. The near desert, camels, trek to the falls, a wonderfully cooked lemon chicken tagine and safely navigated transportation - everything to like.
Awsome

This was an amazing trip. The tour guide Lachen Mansouri was superb ! He arranged everything from pick up, transportation, camel ride, food and drop off perfectly. Very professional and joyful person who talked with everyone on the tour and never let us feel left out. The itinerary also was well plsnned and gave us the full experience of a desert safari with knowledge of the Berber life. Totally recommend trip
