Exploring Marrakech

Our private guide Abdul and his driver Muhammad collected us from our hotel for our 5 hour custom-made tour of Marrakech. We started our adventure at the Jardin Marjorelle then headed to the Madrasa Ben Youssef (Islamic college built in the 14th century). Abdul found many photo opportunities for us from his experience in doing these tours. He also was very happy to use both of our cameras to give us photos to take home. Muhammad drop us off very close to our destinations and was ready and waiting to collect us at the end of each visit. The car was very comfortable with Muhammad demonstrating excellent driving skills in the crazy traffic of Marrakech. Abdul seemed to be very well connected throughout the Medina allowing us to explore at our leisure. They were able to provide us comprehensive historical information and answered all of our questions through their excellent English skills. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Great overview tour of Marrakech

Abdul was an excellent and knowledgeable guide giving us much insight into the history of Marrakech. It was nice to have the history when visiting the locations that we would have not had otherwise! Mohammed was a great driver too navigating the chaos that is Marrakech and its Medina. Both were professional and I’d recommend this tour to get a great overview of Marrakech. The only downside was visiting the rug shop in the souks, while nice to learn about the different styles and techniques the high pressure sales pitch was not welcome as we had no interest in purchasing a rug. Still it was a great tour thanks to Abdul!

5 STAR experience from start to finish. We were collected from our hotel at the correct time and driven to the centre of Marrakech to meet up with our tour guide Aziz. He has an outstanding knowledge of the history of Marrakech. During the tour, we were never rushed and went at a great pace to visit everywhere described. To be honest, we will cherish our memories with many thanks to Aziz's tour. The driver was there at every point to transfer us to the various locations. Brilliant tour! Abdelfatah - best tour guide!

Private and guided tour around Marrakech! We were greeted at our hotel to be picked up by Abdelfatah. We had a comfortable vehicle and a great driver too. Abdelfatah took us to the Sardiaan tombs, Bahia Palace, Jardin Majorelle and we chose to walk some of it to see a little bit more of the souk too. Abdelfatah’s knowledge, passion and humour were absolutely brilliant! He shared so much knowledge with us in the best way! We skipped the queues and he guided us around all the sites, he also pointed things out and explained them as we drove around. It was the perfect amount of time during the morning and over midday as it was starting to get hotter when we came back to the hotel. It was a perfect experience from start to finish. We feel so lucky to have had Abdelfatah as our tour guide! Definitely a must-do when in Marrakech!

Worth the money if you want to get all the main sights into one day. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and you get to by pass the cues - which is worth its value alone. Communication for the booking and pick up was good. All straight forward and an enjoyable day - highly recommended.

Aziz not only took us to all of the places they mentioned, but he was great in so many other ways: - Was super flexible with timing of pick up and drop off, as well as timing per spot. He wasn’t rushing us to go too fast and didn’t nag us even when we went over time, even though it was eating into his own personal time - He always made sure we were doing okay on food, water, and bathrooms. He would check in with us even before we would ask - He made sure to keep us safe physically, and also financially from scams. He would help us to bargain to get the best deals and only take us to credible places - He was just such a friendly and warm person. We got to learn a lot not just from the tour but also from asking him follow-up questions about the city, history, and even his personal background. He was super open and honest, and very objective / practical without adding his own biases onto the explanations (as far as we could tell) We had a lot of other tours after this but he was really the best tour guide we had. Would 100% recommend him and would love to book him again if we ever come back to Marrakesh. Thank you Aziz, Mrhbaan!

Great tour hosted by a very friendly and knowledgable guide in Hassan. We had 2 young kids and he kindly adapted the tour to fit in with our requests and their feed ( and hungry tummy’s). It was a great day out seeing Marrakech and the Medina.
