    A MUST DO FOOD EXPERIENCE
    Nuckle, May 2024
Fantastic food tour from the start to the end. Great food that just kept on giving. Great to walk to each venue and get to see the hustle and bustle of the streets by night. A small group of 10 was perfect. Mustafa was our guide, very knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the Moroccan food culture and it’s history. Highly recommend this tour. You’ll love it.
    Fantastic Food Tour!
    Patrick_H, Apr 2024
Absolutely first-class food tour! Genuinely lost track of how many things we ate but every one of them was delicious. Great variety of tastes, great new way of exploring the Medina and the markets, and two really great guides showing the group around and making their passion for food and cooking very infectious! The only criticism we had was that the tour lost a little bit of momentum for the last hour.
    Entertaining and delicious
    Nicola_P, Apr 2024
Wonderful food and a fantastic, knowledgeable guide! Yassine showed us all the local foods and was funny and entertaining whilst showing us around. I would recommend not eating too much beforehand as there was a lot of food to try!
One of the best food tours I’ve ever done!
    LISA_S, Apr 2024
Hands down one of the best food tours I’ve ever been on! They show you so many interesting foods and I got to try so many unique things I had never even heard of before. Our guide explained everything really well and was so friendly! He even cooked us tagia himself!! Everything was so delicious and we were so full by the end of the night. Amazing deal for a cheap price!
    Awesome tour

This was a great tour! Many stops along the way…He even cooked something himself for all of us! He had such a passion for the food and tour itself. You could tell food makes him very happy which made the tour that much better. Highly recommend.
    Excellent Food Tour

    Come Hungry!!
    kristine_c, Apr 2024
We had such a wonderful time on our food tour with Brahim. First of all, we decided last minute about this tour because we weren't sure if we would get there on time. Unfortunately, when we tried to book it, we missed the first tour, but they were very accommodating and we were able to sign up for the last tour. My mom and I ended up being the only ones on the tour so it was very personable. Brahim and his assistant (I'm sorry I forgot his name) were both so nice, informative, and funny! As we walked, they shared a bit of history about Marrakech, about the culture, and even gave us safety and shoppings tips for when we were going to navigate around the souks on our own. The main tip I can give about this tour is COME HUNGRY!! We are big foodies and can eat a lot, and there was almost too much food lol some of the food is unique, I would recommend to just try everything. We did not go into any tourist-y restaurants, they took us all to local spots within the souks or around where people live - mostly away from the main tourist square. We both felt very safe the entire time. You do walk quite a bit throughout the whole tour, but there are so many stops, you don't really notice how much you walk. I'm not sure if we had a unique experience because there were only two of us, but from the experience we had, I would definitely recommend this tour!

    Jay_K, Apr 2024
This was a brilliant tour. A really great way of experiencing Marrakech. Moor was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable about the food, culture and history. Even our kids (11 and 14) loved it. Would highly recommend.
    The ultimate experience
    Benjamin_S, Mar 2024
Yassin provided us a fantastic night of food that started off with sardine sandwiches. After that we made our way to a home to share in the iftar meal to break fast during Ramadan. We certainly found parts of Marrakech we would not have otherwise seen if not for the tour and I highly recommend this experience. Yassin was a consummate guide who made every stop fun.
    Great food tour
    JM_D, Mar 2024
Great food tour with more food than you can eat! It was Ramadan so the itinerary was amended. Started off by breaking ftour with a fried sardine sandwich from a street vendor - our guide brought his mums home made Harris’s which was lovely. Then we went to a house to enjoy a typical ftour dinner with all the trimmings - a wonderful experience. Next was a stop to eat beef tanjia - unfortunately due to the recent earthquakes we were not able to visit the hammam where the tanjias are cooked. The tanjia was really good! Finally we went to the Jewish quarter to sample fruit smoothies. We were meant to try grilled chicken skewers but due to Ramadan they were not available - not a bad thing as no one could eat another
    Great authentic experience.

Excellent evening. We are a family of 4 with 8&11 yo boys. Trip started on time and guides easily found, very welcoming and spoke perfect English. Great experience of authentic food, an authentic home during Ramadan and lots of information.

Really fun and informative tour. Would totally recommend. The guide was knowledgeable and brought the tour to life.
    Awful experience
    Ben_B, Mar 2024
This was less a food tour and more a world of pain, only made tolerable by some other nice people that happened to be on it. First was sardine sandwich. Followed by a long trek to the guide's house where they served us some breakfast food that we'd already had most mornings. Then another long trek and an hour wait while the guide picked up tanjia beef. Then another long trek to get a juice. The guide wittered on interminably about Islam and stuff which had nothing to do with food. He was also misogynistic and has extreme cognitive dissonance. I think Ramadan meant that we couldn't do street food. Or no doubt that would be the excuse anyway. £42 a head was a huge ripoff. Especially when the previous night we had a wonderful meal at a supposedly expensive restaurant for £20 a head. Not impressed I'm afraid.
    Response from Host, Mar 2024
Dear Ben, We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback, though we're disheartened by your one-star review. Your critique appears to reveal more about your approach to travel rather than reflecting on our food tour experience. Our aim was to immerse you in our cultural traditions through cuisine, yet it seems you were more focused on the monetary aspect rather than embracing the rich history and heritage of the country you're exploring. During the tour, we ensured you sampled a variety of dishes and had the opportunity to experience Ramadan with a Moroccan family. Labeling our guide as misogynistic reflects poorly on your perception, considering the dedication and knowledge they imparted throughout the journey. Your failure to grasp the cultural significance, particularly during Ramadan, suggests a lack of understanding rather than any inherent flaw in our services. We trust discerning travelers will evaluate your review in context with others from the same date, enabling them to make an informed decision about the authenticity of our tour experience. Warm regards Next Stop Morocco

Marrakech Magic at Night! Catch the nighttime magic of the Medina on this tour. Warm and friendly guide. Breakfast dinner during Ramadan at a family home was interesting and tasty. Don’t miss this taste of Marrakech!
    Very impressed
    Kirsten_D, Mar 2024
Our wonderful guides changed up the food tour due to Ramadan – what a great decision! At the beginning of the tour we had the famous hout quari and then walked to a local family’s home for an iftar meal. Everything was delicious and we tried many delicacies incl. street foods & sweet treats – all bases covered. Our guide then brought us a beef tangia (homemade) which we demolished! Finishing off with a refreshing fruit smoothie was really great.
A unique journey though the Medina including a family meal

Visit g during Ramadan we were invited to break fast with a local family. A truly enlightening and welcoming experience
So much more than just food.
    Samantha_W, Feb 2024
Great way to experience local food in the medina. We were taken to special spots which served amazing food and were given local history and knowledge as we went. Meeting others from around the world to share this was lovely. So much more than eating. Thank you it was an unforgettable experience.
A foodies must do street food tour
    Pritam_S, Feb 2024
We have been to a few food tours before and this rates to us as one of the best. It is definitely on the foodies must do list. Mustafa is an excellent guide, having been a chef for many years his passion for Moroccan food really shows. All the food we ate was something I am sure we would not have found just wondering about and definitely not at the quality that we ate. A big thank you to Mustafa.
