Overview

What To Expect

After pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach the Ouzoud Waterfalls. Travel in comfort aboard a modern air-conditioned minibus and take in the beautiful scenery.

Upon arrival, marvel at the beauty of the Ouzoud Waterfalls. Enjoy the freedom to explore independently or with a guide who speaks English, French, Arabic, or Spanish. Hike the trails, learn about the Berber culture and its warm hospitality, or simply relax at a river-side café where you can purchase lunch.

After your adventure, return to your riad in Marrakech.

Driver Rarhib was very friendly with me and my daughter. Explained all trip very detailed with stops and everything. Our guide wich sadly don’t remember his name, was also great. Took care of us perfectly. Saw beautiful waterfall, had a lovely lunch and fed the monkeys.

Very nice tour, great guide, well organised. My only negative feedback is the lack of consideration for vegetarians. We got taken to a restaurant where meat eaters have a choice, vegetarian don't. It is vegetarian tajine or vegetarian tajine. After booking other trips on viator where again vegetarian tajine is the only option, I got bored and asked for a salad. I got given a saucer with 5 olives , another saucer (not even a plate) and a dip. That was my lunch. You can't ask for anything else. There is no flexibility . It was the same menu on every viator trip. Reallyflel shame. There wasn't any offer for me to stop a buy a sandwich or anything else. I was starving by the time I got back.

Good experience. The tour guide Marwa, not sure I got the spelling right, was fun and very active and spoke the different languages to include everyone. I’m dropping a star cause it’s a lot of walking and so many stairs to climb, I almost passed out, lol. It’s not their fault, I’m just not fit, lol. But if I can do it, you sure can.

Stunning Waterfall Visit!

A really enjoyable day out to see the Ouzoud Falls. The shuttle bus to and from the site was very comfortable, and even though the drive was 3 hours each way the journey did not feel nearly as long thanks to the scenic views. The waterfalls themselves were beautiful, and it was great to be able to view them both from the top of the cliff and from the bottom. Best of all was the boat ride that took us right up close to the falls themselves (don't worry, you only get close enough to get a light spray of water). Our tour guide was good, although the first 30-45 minutes of the trip could have been a little better handled as this was pretty much just moving around various spots at the top of the waterfall which didn't offer much variety for photos at first, but the trip got better after that. The only negative is the bathroom at the restaurant where we stopped for lunch. Whilst the food was good and satisfying, the bathroom was in a pretty horrid state and so visitors best be warned to avoid using if possible. The shuttle bus stops at a truck stop at both the beginning and the end of the trip, where a better bathroom is available.

Our guide Marwan was super knowledgeable and so friendly. He was fluent in many languages and made our day so much fun singing and dancing on the boat ride. Our driver was very good and safe. The food was delicious and plenty of it for 120 Dirhams! I was worried after reading some bad reviews but this wad honestly a day to remember. The falls are spectacular and the monkeys very friendly. It was a perfect day

Our guide Yousef was so friendly and made the trip very enjoyable. The highlight for me was seeing the wild monkeys, and the boat trip. Lunch was delicious, I had vegetable couscous. I would recommend you wear sturdy trainers.

Nice to see and interact with the monkey. However personally, I think the fall itself is not that amazing to see water is not too clean. and it was very crowded. Stayed too long at the Argan oil place. It is toooo touristy.

Absolutely stunning! Just incredible views, lovely local produce all the way round too. Pick up was so easy, everything explained and much needed pit stop en route. The guide was really helpful and went at pace for the group. Lovely little restaurants too. Highly recommended ❤️

I joined this tour with my 3 friends on the 14th of March. In the van the driver had music on which was nice to listen to. Our tour guide was Hamid and he is fun and informative about his tour. It was a little disappointing that the waterfall wasn't a lot and the ground were dry but the whole experience was amazing! We got to the see the monkeys, the rower of the boat took really beautiful group photo and the tagine lunch was just delicious by the waterfall view. I would recommend people to experience this adventure!

The drive from Marrakesh was 3.5 hours each way & the driver was on both of his phones for the duration, drove extremely fast & overtook everything! The Mountains are lovely, and the actual waterfalls are beautiful, what we found frustrating was the sheer number of tourists and the time it took to just reach the bottom. The boats at the bottom are just a bit of fun, the distance from one side to the other is around 20-30 feet (this bit is very commercial & touristy) a bridge is being built which may help with numbers … the walk back up is steps all the way, so be careful if you are not very fit. Restaurants further up looked better than those at the bottom.

Guide was nice, but your part of an organised game. No time to sit and enjoy the waterfall, herded around like cattle. Time wasted trying to sell argan oil and tried to make you go to a dingy restaurant that they get commission for. We had travelled three hours to get to the waterfall so I went rouge and refused to sit in the ‘chosen’ restaurant that was dark and facing a wall. I walked three minutes up the steps and found a beautiful restaurant on a Terrace over looking the waterfall, it was perfect. I don’t think the guide was to happy but I explained I would be back at the chosen restaurant when it was time to leave. I would choose a different tour if I did this again so we had more free time.

We decided to take this trip during our stay in Marrakech and were not disappointed. The driver Abdelaali was very good, punctual and got us there safely to start our day. Our guide Mohammed also was great making us feel very welcome and helping to keep us cool under the shade of the trees whilst waiting on the boat ride. Highly recommend.

Great location, poor guide, uncomfortable journey, bad drver

Spectacular location, well worth visiting. Driver was bad - no aircon, no messages about journey stops, played his music loud until asked to stop… but worse than this was his driving. Sooner or later he’ll have an accident. Guide at the Ouzoud Falls herded rather than guided and informed. No choice of restaurant given. Food was expensive. The Atlas Mountains tour was considerably better (5 stars); this trip was disappointing, uncomfortable and might have been dangerous. The 2 stars is given because of spectacular location.

Lovely tour guide, good transport to and from. You’re also taken to see some traditionally production of argon oil as well as trying some tea and argon and almond butter, they have a shop there to buy some of their products with prices ranging about 150-600 dirhams (I wish I took some money to buy some almond butter) There are free roaming monkeys around the water fall, you can buy some peanuts to feed the monkeys and have them climb on you to take pictures for about 10 dirhams. Lunch is about 160 dirhams for three courses including tagine (you’re taken to a specific restaurant by your tour guide so you don’t choose fro where to eat) Really enjoyed the tour and would recommend!

Very good experience from beginning to end. Our driver was where we were told he would be in the morning. After a few pick ups from carious locations, we were off. The van stopped off at a shop that made argan oil and the served us some hot mint tea. Another stop at a store for snacks at then the waterfalls. Or guide, Marouane, was really good! He spent a few moments with each person form the group to make sure we all had the pictures we were after. There was some encounters with monkeys that he expertly guided us all through. A walk down to the base of the falls is a little difficult, so wear good shoes. The boat ride out to the falls is very good. You probably wont get wet at all. You have to walk back up about three quarters of the way to eat at the restaurant there. Decent food there. Your guide gets you back to your van and three hours later, you're back in Marrakech.

Well worth the money, not a top 5.

Super safe, fun, easy hikes, loved the monkeys, lunch wasn't expensive and came with lots of tasty extras. People & staff are very nice (Hassan, Abdul). Ride is very long, but that is known. It's not a top 5 attraction.
