What To Expect

Greet your driver at your hotel and board an air-conditioned car destined for downtown. First, you’ll disembark at Plaza Botero — a square dedicated to the distinctive sculptures of Medellin-born artist, Fernando Botero — to admire 23 sculptures. 

Following this, you’ll hop onto Medellin’s famous Metrocable and gaze at landmarks such as the Santo Domingo Library as you ascend to the summit of a vegetation-smothered hill. Admire panoramic city views and the lush greenery of a natural reserve before you return to land.

Throughout the day, you’ll gain insight into the cultural and historical context of famous monuments and delve into Medellin’s turbulent history.

During the Christmas season (December 2016-January 2017), you’ll take a tour of the city’s spectacular Christmas lights. Stop to take photos and enjoy the gaudy splendour of Medellin’s holiday decorations before drop-off at your hotel.
