Great orientation to Medellin

Great overview of Medellin. Loved Botera statues in park and wandering thru nearby streets, shopping area including local market to Bolivar park. Enjoyed cable car ride up mountain and metro train. Guide, JP's english was strong and appreciated his split of time in US and Colombia.

My husband and I went on a private tour because we don’t care for large groups and we find we get a better experience/education with a private tour. Juan Carlos was our guide on this beautiful excursion. He was friendly and had vast knowledge of the area and it’s rich history. He even treated us to ice cream which was super sweet. Highlights were Communa 13, a cable car ride and walking through the center of Medellin at Botero Park.
