What To Expect

Depart from your hotel in Medellin to begin the journey into the dense jungle; relax during a scenic 45-minute drive in an air-conditioned minivan, feeling your heart rate quicken as you approach the entrance of the Arvi Nature Reserve, one of the region’s biggest protected parks. 

Enjoy a welcome beverage and a 20-minute orientation from your experienced guide before donning your protective gear and beginning your ascent to the first platform. Progress through the five segments of the course, soaring down cables suspended between 656 feet (200 meters) and 984 feet (300 meters) above ground. Feel your adrenaline surge during this 90-minute adventure at high velocity. 

The exhilarating excursion culminates with a white-knuckle rappel down a 16-foot (5-meter) cliff; gaze downwards at rocky crevices as you descend into the lush vegetation below. Satisfy a hearty appetite with some traditional Colombian food on-site (own expense) before returning to your Medellin hotel in the minivan.

This is a experience that words cant properly explain. As if ridding through and around the mountain with beautiful views of medellin wasnt enough, we zipped across two lines 300ft from the ground. Overlooking the waterfall and various attractions. I will say that the lines were not the only challenge. Be ready for an invigorating hike both ways. Our guide juan and the zipline instructors were top of the line.

Simply put, the tour was not what the description said. It was a 2 hour ride to get to the venue, there were two zip line segments not five, no rappelling and very steep trails to and from the lines. The guide was very nice and apologetic, said the description had not been updated. However, the situation has not been remedied. We would never have booked a tour involved 4 hours in a car on very difficult roads for 10 to 15 minutes of zip lining.
5 Waterfalls

Awesome trip touring the town of Medellin before arriving to the location. Once arriving we saw Fincas (Ranches) and Haciendas on the mountain top. Surrounded by waterfalls. The kids enjoyed the zip line. Short ride but worth the exploration of the town.

Zipline about 800 feet over a river

Zipline Adventure was a great experience and well worth the price tag. Nikolai was my tour guide and we got picked up at our hotel and drive for 1.5 hours to the site at Ecoparque Los Saltos. There's a bit of a hike down and up part of the mountain to get to the ziplining site (very daunting work out for the unfit). The experience was breathtaking. There are about 2 ziplines for this short tour but it gives you time to do other events in the day. Much recommended!

The zipline tour was great. We had a great tour guide and the two experts who guided is in the jungle were exceptional. Tour was three ziplines, each one longer than the previous. After the second section, we rappelled down about 60 feel on this giant tree. That was exciting as well. I would highly recommend this tour. There were 8 of us and the tourguide and the driver were friendly. It was obvious that they knew the area, as they accompanied us to a wonderful spot for lunch.
