Amazing historic site made up for other problems.

Unfortunately, because roads closed for demonstrations, the guide Alexa had us take subway to meet bus. Very strenuous on hot day. Lost about 45 minutes because of this, and this shortened the visit to pyramids, but not to store and restaurant. Too bad. Alexa tried hard to give much information, switching constantly between Spanish and English, but she spoke much too fast, making it hard to understand her. The visit to store, ,where we were offered samples of several typical (?). drinks (not really tasting well) and pressured to buy overpriced items, was a waste of time. The bus was comfortable, and driver Fernando (?) was good. The amazing views of pyramids and other temples compensated for the problems.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Alice, was so incredibly, knowledgeable, and funny. She really made the trip. The temples, dinner, and the obsidian workshop were all incredible, I can’t recommend this enough.

This is a 5 hours tour and we spend only 60 minutes on the site, we spend more time in the Tequila factory and for lunch. The site closed a 17.00 so we had no free time to visit the site. We blocked the day to visit the most important historical site in Mexico with this tour and we were extremely disappointed/

Alberto is a very good guide. The entire experience, from pickup to return, was enjoyable. We learned about the site, the history, the people and he had had good answers to all our questions. We took a half-day afternoon tour, which included a stop in an area with presentation, a tequila tasting and a restaurant for drinks. The group was large (about 50 or so) but for the price it can’t be beat. ¡Te recomiendo!

Efficient use of time for those not interested in a full day tour. You spend two hours on site and the first hour with the guide. You cannot climb the temples, so two hours is fine. The area with the tequila tasting, gift shop and restaurant is very pleasant. There’s no pressure and you can relax and have a beer if so inclined.

Feeling screwed

Nice guide but very bad experience overall. The tour was supposed to be for 15 people maximum but we were 26 people. We had to meet at 12.30 for a departure at 12.45 but the bus arrived 30’ late at 1pm. Duration and program were not respected with an extra dinner at the end. Tasting was too quick and we were left with 30 minutes to spend in the tourist shop. Pyramids are amazing but not with this formula

Amazing place to visit, but you can't hear a thing

Teotihuacan is a great day trip from CDMX, and you can spend about 1-2 hours there depending on how much walking you want to do. There's no shade from the sun so bring a hat & sunblock, and there are lots of fun souvenirs to buy so bring cash too. The tequila tasting at the obsidian workshop was a fun, chill end to the day, but the gifts there are marked up 2-4x the prices found elsewhere in the city. Overall it's a good tour option if you don't want a 8-9 hour long tour like most other options. Only complaint is that you can't hear a word the guide says since the bus has a horrible speaker system. Read up on the history ahead of time if you're really intestinal!

Diana was our guide and she was very educated in the history of Teotihuacán. Absolutely learned a lot and I’m glad we booked. Diana was friendly and approachable for asking questions. The whole experience was wonderful from the drive to the pyramids to the mezcal. There was lots of walking, but it was not too bad. Definitely recommend this tour!

Don't bother paying extra fro the small tour option. You will be in a group that is more than 15 people. I tried to get some money back but have not heard. SO just book the early morning tour to Teotihuacan - the crowds are less in the morning. The tour they added for the mezcal and obsidian was so contrived.

Una estafa!!!! Me han cambiado el itinerario sin avisar y no me incluyeron la visita a la Basílica de Guadalupe, tengo mi bono que prueba que estaba incluido en el tour y lo unico que hicieron fue dejarme en una calle cercana. Reembolso por el tour incompleto que recibí... nada! solo me llegan correos de respuesta automatica. Muchas gracias VIATOR!!!!
