Just an OK experience.
Michael_D, Apr 2024
The places we visit were nice and our guide was informative but things just went really slow. This could have easily been 2 hours less time with the same experience. My other issue was it seemed like the focus was more about buying things than the cultural experience. They obviously received kick backs for our stops.
Better English Interpreter wanted
leslie_J, Apr 2024
I wish the tour guide spoke better English. More than half the tour was English speaking and his accent was so thick it was difficult to know when he was switching from Spanish to English. My partner and I missed quite a bit of what he was saying. Also, our first stop was not on the list and while it was ultimately informative we did not know why we were there. Also the first driver was very good. The second driver was terrible. Drove fast and jerky. Not a great thing after lunch :(
Super adventure!

really fun guide and great experience, definitely recommend! we had rosemaria as our tour guide and she was lovely and charismatic. Teotihuacan is really cool and definitely worth while. :)
Fun day in mexico

Great time and very informative guide Charlie. Highly recommended! He was also very funny and made the trip even better!
Awesome!

Great way to spend the day! There were 4 stops in total so definitely worthwhile. Learned a lot about Mexico's history.
Highly recommend!

Booked this for me and my mom. We had a great time and learn a lot from our wonderful tour guide Rosa! We thought the pacing was great as there was a good amount of time at each stop. Overall, Rosa and Israel were great in making the trip comfortable and enjoyable - highly recommend spending a day with them!
Less is still LESS

The guide was excellent and highly knowledgeable of the historical significance. However, without being able to actually walk the pyramids as previous, the trip is HIGHLY diminished. The price is much lower, and that is greatly justified by that fact.
A big disappointment and waste of time and money - do not recommend.

We were extremely disappointed with this tour and wouldn’t recommend it. It is advertised as a tour of the Teotihuacán pyramids and the Basilica of Guadeloupe tour; however, out of a full day tour, we spent 1.5 hours at the pyramids and 45 minutes at the basilica, half of which was in the shop as they tried to sell things to you. It was a real shame that the main things you wanted to see were rushed in place of selling opportunities. Hard selling felt like the agenda of the tour - rather than exploring the cultural highlights, it felt like we were treated as walking ATMs with sales pitches at every turn. The cultural element of the day could have been dealt with in about 3-4 hours and instead of the 10 hours it took. It felt like our guide wasn’t very engaged in the tour and the information she shared was hard to understand, as it was muddled and confusing. Thankfully this was our fourth tour of our trip, so we had a good understanding of the history and key issues (ie the fact that the city is sinking which is significantly effecting the buildings) affecting the city and surrounding areas, which allowed us to bridge the gaps, and at times explain to others on the tour. We did five tours (with five different tour companies - three walking and two by bus) during our 10 night stay in Mexico City and this was hands down the worse one.
fantastic

the pyramids are so awe inspiring -the guides did a lot for us also side trips to jewelry shop, discussion on cactus and many uses were excellent Trip to Basilica was at the end of the day when all was tired and the scorching heat at the pyramids
Bringing Mexico history to life

Our guide’s detailed knowledge and love of Mexico. He was also fun! We got a great understanding of the ancient Mexican history
This tour eclipses all others!

Charlie and Elio put us totally as ease from the moment we met up and read the group’s needs throughout. Very organized presentation. I highly recommend this tour!
A great day tour
Katie_Y, Apr 2024
Thoroughly enjoyed this day tour. Pick up and drop off was seamless, and the tour was wonderful. I learned so much from the guide who provided a comprehensive overview at all the various locations. I was a solo traveler so booking this trip made it easier to get to Teotihuacan & the other parts of the tour, and was nice to meet a lovely group as well.
The sites were amazing but the quality of the tour VERY POOR
Adriana_L, Apr 2024
We were picked up and dropped off in a timely manner. The sites were amazing but the tour was very poor. The tour guide did not speak English well; half of what he said could not be understood. Near Teotihuacan we had to stop at a shop where we got a demonstration about agave products and the lady giving the explanations spoke 2 to 4 words in English and the rest of the time all she just said "amigos". The shop was overpriced of course "tourist high prices" Later we were brought to the restaurant by the shop and if you chose not to have lunch, there was nothing to do therefore you were forced to eat there. They should have provided the option of spending more time visiting the pyramids instead. Again the sites were amazing but the quality of the tour poor
Disappointing

Will not ever recommend this company to anyone one due to lack of communication and lack of pre-tour instructions/tips. Very rushed with little time to enjoy. I’ve been doing business with another well know company, and I think I will stick with them.
Don’t hesitate to book

Excellent narration in both English and Spanish. Carlos’ perspective of historical events were informative and appreciated.
Best day tour in CDMX
Alex_M, Apr 2024
Antonio was an absolute gem of a guide! The itinerary on Viator really doesn't do justice to the day you are going to experience! From catholic churches to the history of the Aztec and Mayan, Antonio tells you EVERYTHING! After the pyramids tour we had a puelque and tequila tasting, and learned about regional stones and crystals. Then the basilica is so much more than that! Honestly, book it already, what an amazing trip we had. Thank you Antonio and Israel!
Perfect your day with kids.
Cristina_C, Apr 2024
We had an amazing time. Our tour guide Carlos was so knowledgeable. The entire day flowed perfectly. We had two kids with us and they enjoyed it. Plenty of bathroom breaks, snacks and entertainment.
Up the Pyramid!
Gerard_H, Apr 2024
The bus was good and Marta the guide talked in English. The site was good so was the Basilica. The pyramids site is enormous. It lacks places to sit and involves a lot of step climbing.
Great experience
Simoni_S, Apr 2024
The tour was great with day nicely planned and good explanations by the guide. Totally recommend it.
A good experience
Iryna_Z, Mar 2024
A very good group size so we could get to know each other a bit and hear the guide well. The guide was lovely and the tour itself was interesting. The restaurant we had lunch at was okay but overpriced for what it offered, so was the gift shop. Regardless, the experience itself was very good and we enjoyed our day. P.S. Bring hats and sunscreen!
