Will not do again

Taxco is a pretty town with lots to see. Unfortunately, we were only given 1 hour to spend on our own. We spent most of the time in a van. Stopping in Cuernavaca is a waste of time. The church is falling apart and didn’t see anything else. The trip was supposed to begin at 6:20am and we were picked up at 8:45am.

Interesting, entertaining and worth every minute

We were supposed to meet at a coffee shop for this tour at 6:30 and the tour guide was there on time. Ruben, the guide, was amazing! He was knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and organized. Ruben's English and Spanish skills were impeccable and did the bilingual tour very entertaining. We were very impressed with his knowledge about the history of the sites. Also, he pointed out interesting art elements of the buildings, and many details. Worth every penny.

To be honest Taxco was so beautiful but in my experience that tour guy needs to be more costumer attentive because he wasn’t communicating much with English speaking customers

The trip itself withe guide was very good. But the organization before hand was diabolical. Agreement to pick us up from the residence was changed the last minute. We had to wait in the cold for 45 minutes in front of a hote. After calling several times, a car arrived to take us to a mini bus, then to another minibus. By this time we had already spent 2 hours travelling . Your subcontractor Amigo did not seem to honour our contract with you. Also a trip to the mine was changed We were told we will get reimbursed. Please ensure that happens

See old town Taxco. Alexa was very knowledgeable. However, as for the English portion, she could please slow down so we can understand more.

Our tour guide Andy was great. She kept us informed on logistics, had interesting details about the area, and was very attentive. Our driver Victor got us there and back safely. The lunch restaurant was incredible. The food was fantastic and the view was amazing. Tasco is a beautiful city with a rich history. The pre-Hispanic mine was interesting. I hope they continue to develop the tour with more techniques on how the miners extracted the ore rich rock and then processed the rocks to produce the precious metals.

Booked this tour. They removed it from my booking called viator about not shown on my app. They confirmed it was not listed. Contact amigo about mistake. They put it back into the app later at 1pm after the tour started. They would not refund my money or reschedule. It was amigo tour fault. I already bought 3 tours from them. Will not recommend them at all. Very dishonest tour company. Stole my money, lost $126.00 USD.

Glad I booked this trip . The guide was excellent, very informative. The silver factory had some amazing work for sale which I bought several pieces . The staff their where very knowledgeable. Then we went on to taxco which is the sweetest place. Highlights where the little winding streets and the cathedral

Andres was our tour guide and he was very very knowledgeable about everything he showed us. This was a great walking tour to see the beautiful towns of Taxco and Cuernavaca. Very Picturesque tour. The tour of the mine was great as well. I would definitely recommend this tour. I wanted to stay a few nights in Taxco lol!

Ok, but different than expected

Overall fun tour, but I gave it 3 stars because it was not what I was expecting. The pre-Hispanic mine part was not of any sort of historical significance, in fact it was just a room with sparkly walls made to look like a silver mine. Seemed the reason for the stop was the store that was attached to the room. If you love shopping this would be fine, but history buffs beware. There was a guide that spoke (Spanish and English) about the mines and explained how to tell the quality of silver, but it was a short exhibition. The city of Taxco is truly beautiful and the church was outstanding, but the main activity is shopping. I do recommend seeing the top of the church (50 pesos), but if you’re looking for adventure or history, there are better tours to do.

We got to see a pretty church in Cuernavaca and learned so much thanks to our well informed guide, Alexa. Taxco was such a pretty city, and the silver mines were an incredible sight to see. We bought some beautiful silver, saw a gorgeous church, and ate a delicious lunch overlooking the city of Taxco. Amazing!

Very professional driver made us feel comfortable on mountain roads and in busy city traffic. Cuernavaca is a relatively quick stop. Taxco was so interesting and the silver is exquisite. The visit to the silver store was very educational. I was surprised to find how comfortable and interesting the mine tour was, don't miss it!
