    • GROUP SIZE: ◘ Small-group tour: up to 12 travelers. ◘ Private tour: any size (only your group will participate).
    • CUSTOMIZATION: ◘ Small-group tour: Not customizable. ◘ Private tour: The tour is customizable which means the time you spend in each destination can be adjusted to your needs. E.g. if you wanna visit a place that is not part of the default itinerary (e.g. attraction, restaurant, or market), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) still fits the default duration of the tour and (2) doesn't involve a major change of the route. If both conditions are met, we can shorten the stay at a particular location included in the program of the tour so that you have time to visit the place you are interested in. Other changes such as extending the duration of the tour, changing the route, and adding extra participants, should be communicated to the Company at least 48h before the tour and will involve an extra fee.
    • WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU: personal ID (or a copy: digital or in paper); personal travel insurance; comfortable clothes and shoes; hat/cap, sunscreen, and sunglasses (the sun is pretty strong anywhere in Mexico); cash (if you’d like to buy something as not all merchants accept bank cards in Mexico); good mood and curiosity (☺).

    • LANGUAGE(S): ◘ Small-group tour: English & Spanish (our guides are bilingual). ◘ Private tour: All our tours are led by local bilingual (at least Spanish & English) guides. Some of them speak other languages (e.g. French, German, Italian, Portuguese) but those depend on availability and cannot be fully guaranteed. Thus, if you want to have your tour in a language other than Spanish or English, please kindly inquire in advance before booking.
    • PRICE: ◘ Small-group tour: Fixed price/person. ◘ Private tour: The price/person varies and depends on the number of participants in your booking.
    • TERMS & CONDITIONS: By booking this activity ("Tour") with the tour organizer ("Company"), you ("Customer") accept to: ● comply with all laws and regulations of the country (countries) where the Tour takes place; ● follow the instructions of the Company and its representatives; ● take all measures to procure your own safety on the Tour including, but not limited to, use of safety devices (including face masks, seat-belts, harnesses, and helmets), obeying posted signs, and oral or written warnings from the Company's representatives regarding health and safety; ● provide information about pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate in the Tour or have a negative impact on the experience of others on the Tour; ● have personal travel insurance covering injury, emergency medical expenses, and damage or loss of your personal property, valid for the whole duration of the Tour; ● waive responsibility of the Company and its representatives for any personal health and property damage that may occur during the Tour; ● allow the Company to use any media content created by its representatives during the Tour for marketing-related purposes.

    Cancellation Policy

    This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

      Our guide, Clara, was so knowledgeable and showed us around to all of the best areas. She told us about the artifacts and described religious beliefs for us. The museum itself is unbelievably beautiful and fascinating.

      Guide didnt show, tour operator lied, wasted our time, disappointing.

      Booked this private tour through Viator. The day before the tour, the guide contacted us through Whats App with instructions on where to meet. We arrived for our tour. The guide wasn't there. I sent a message through Whats App to the guide and they told me to contact the tour operator. We called them and they told us another person had canceled their tour and they sent the message to our guide by mistake. Our guide had been at the museum but left and was on the way back. At about the same time, our guide sent us a message saying she had a health issue and ad to cancel the tour, not what the tour operator was claiming. We called the tour company again and now they tell us the guide isn't coming back and they had no one to fill in. They offered to arrange a guide for the following day, but we already had other things planned. Really frustrating that the guide didnt tell us early in the day they weren't coming. Or even as soon as they knew. They had my number and had already messaged me directly the day before. Really frustrating to be obviously lied to about why the guide wasn't there and what was going on. We stood around waiting for a guide that wasn't coming back due to their lies. We were refunded, but it ruined our plans that day and we needed up missing the Anthropology Museum.

      We had Ivan as a tour guide. When we arrived he asked if we would mind merging with another group. We had a group of four kids that I specificlly booked a private tour for so we weren't a distraction for other people. We were a little annoyed because the tour company changed the tour time from 10:00 AM to 9:00 because the museum "would be too crowded later." It was not crowded; I'm guessing they were hoping to combine the groups all along. Anyway, Ivan was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so so much from this tour. That said, it really was not a tour geared towards kids. Ivan was almost professorial; not exactly kid friendly. But we learned so much!
