My guide, Denise, was very professional. He drove safely and his car had a lot of leg space, great for tall people like me. The bike tour was scenic, a nice challenge with great views. I saw giraffes, zebras, pumbas etc. During the boat tour I also saw many hippos and birds. Overall, I really enjoyed this trip and would go on a tour with Denise again.

The tour was Amazing nice nature by the Hells Gate, the lake is awsome.

Festus was a wonderful guide for a fun day at Hell’s Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha. Cycling through the park in the morning was a great way to see several animals up close, lots of zebras, impala, and even buffalo. Lunch at Crescent Camp Lodge was delicious after a boat ride around the lake. The best part was seeing all the animals on the island from the boat. There must have been well over 100 of several species grazing near the shoreline. Festus was a great guide who answered all my questions and checked in throughout the day to make sure I had everything I needed.
While Hell’s Gate may not have some of the larger animals or more of the Big 5 like other parks, it is still a stunning area and a unique experience.

When you're tired of bit city of Nairobi, take this trip to the coutryside! Ask for Jaffar, our guide. He explained the geologic structures and includes the Lion King references to the areas. The bike ride is at an easy pace and the short hike around the gorge and hot springs was fun. Jaffar takes and sends you pictures of yourselves so you don't have to worry about those. Kazungu, our driver, got us there and back safely, especially on the two lane mountain roads with tons of trucks. We saw more wild animals and birds during the boat cruise and our lunch included fresh tilapia from the lake.

Wow this tour was great. We had a beautiful day biking through hells gate seeing all the animals in their natural environment. The boat tour was also awesome and we saw so many hippos and different type of animals. Our tour guide was very well informed and so was our driver. I highly recommend booking this tour.

Dennis picked up my husband and I for the 2.5 hour drive to Lake Navisha. He made a pit stop at a shop in the Rift Valley where he introduced to our guide. Our "guide" was gonna tell us the history of the Rift Valley (for a tip) - we didn't ask for the stop OR the guide. But our driver said he needed a cup of coffee so no big deal. We arrive at Hells Gate and pick out our ancient bikes for the bike ride. The are loaded onto a motorcycle and they meet us at the entrance to Hells Gate where we meet another guide that is going to do the bike ride with us. His name is Solomon. We absolutely LOVED him - told us the history of the place, was curious about our culture - just a really pleasant guy - if you get to go to Hells Gate - request Solomon. After our bike ride - our driver asks if we want to go to lunch or the boat ride. We said we didn't want to go on the boat ride (my husband get sea sick) and it was $25.00 pp cash only (we didn't have that much cash on us). I told him we just wanted to see Lake Navisha - not the boat ride and he said that wasn't possible - you could not get into the park with paying the $50.00. So we decide we will do the boat ride and get some cash out of ATM. I tell him of 2 restaurants we want to eat at and he says he will take us to a very good restaurant - I repeat the names of the 2 restaurants we want to go to and he takes us to a completely different one. Since we are now 2.5 hours from Nairobi - I let this pass and the food was good. After lunch he walks us out of the garden surrounding the restaurant and there is Lake Navisha. He then walks us over to the lady to pay for the boat ride. I looked at him and said - so we didn't have to pay to get into the park - you lied to us. He completely ignored me and said we could get on a boat right away. My husband & I walked out to Lake Navisha - took a look around (NOTHING special) and walked to the car. Not a word was said to him or by him the entire time back to our hotel. I'm pretty sure - he either got a free meal from the restaurant he took us to or some kind of "kick back". He was a deceitful person and I want your company to know. If you pay for this trip, you will "tip" many guides. Solomon was the only one worth tipping.

First time visitor to Kenya.
Mr Dennis, Mr Frank, and Mr Joseph made my day tour of Hells Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha my best moment in Kenya.
Saw giraffes, zebras, and impalas during my bike ride in Hells Gate National Park, went on a nature walk down the Gorge, visited a Maasai market, and saw hippos during my boat ride on Lake Naivasha.
